How do you start up? I'm a new consultant as of last month and it so very hard trying to get people to even buy the products never the less sign up to be a consultant. How do I get around that? I listen to the conference calls and I've also gone to a carshow but it's not as easy as I planned it to be. I don't have much time for parties because I have two jobs, an internship, and 2 girls ( by the way I'm single). I'm in Dallas and I find that thepeople here are a little bithestitant.Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! smileys/smiley5.gif

Sounds like you are very busy! Guess what? Busy people are the best at this business because they "getthingsdone". When you look for biz builders, you want people who know how to get things done, you don't want people who procrastinate and hesitate and never get much accomplished. Also, you made me think of a book by Brian Klemmer titled If How To's Were Enough We'd All Be Skinny Rich and Happy! Getting started in this business is the hardest thing, until youget your momentum moving. I suggest talking to everyone, use the 3 foot rule, but instead of asking them if they would like to try your products/biz op, ask them, "Do you know anyone_____? Whether its trying the products or the biz op.

Are you using the results system? I have found that it's easier to let the product sell it self.

I am struggling as well. My sponsor is out of state, and out of reach for me. She's too busy! I feel sort of "dropped" now. I don't know where to go from here. I am not getting the support I need.

Well, I am not struggling anymore! My sponsor has opened the lines of communication to me in the last few days and it has made a world of difference in my understanding of exactly what I am doing! She also has put me in touch with a group locally to be able to attend meetings if I choose to do so. So.....I think it's going to get better.

I know things get kinda nuts for everyone. I just needed to be patient!

What you are experiencing is normal. This happens to people not
only in a NWM business, but any business. We must commit to a
long term vision in order to have long term success. We also must
take effective action every single day in our business. Here is
something that could be useful for marketing; have 2 part approach in
the beginning focus on retail, then start marketing to sign up
consultants. Retail will act as your bread and butter in
the beginning. Work on finding an approach that works for you and
do it consistent every single day. In addition to this stuff,
make sure you target a market. We will have the highest success
with those who are most likely to use our products and services.
So for now, remember consistent action daily is where we should start
to build our business.
