I have just started using the Beauticontrol makeup and I really like it. I am a makeup junkie and don't go anywhere without it.I was just wondering if anyone had some tips or could help me out with something I haven't quite figured out yet. I am using the wet/dry foundation and I usually wear it dry becasue the couple times I have tried it wet it didn't seem to blend easily and it felt really thick, so I could use pointers with that. Also when I wear it dry I usually put on the extra help concealer after the foundation, then I set it by sweeping on a touch more of the foundation with a powder brush. I really like how it looks in the beginning, but it doesn't seem to carry well throughout the day. Should I be wearing the concealer underneatht he foundation. I tried this once and it seemed hard to apply and I think because there was no base makeup for it to stick to. Sorry to sound so technical, but I had previously been wearing the same brand foundation and concealer for ten years, so now I am starting over with a brand new product, that I know I am going to love, but I want to figure out all the little tricks right away, especially when someone tells me my makeup looks nice I can start up a conversation about bc...thanks

Hey,

Before you do anything apply your Moisturizer-then apply the CLEAR PRIMER-this will fill in all the "holes and fine lines and wrinkles" let that dry a minute or two (you only need a little) then apply your concealer then foundation, blush and so on. Also I found that the Mascara Primer is excellent-makes your eyelashes really come out/spread out!WONDERFUL!

The Primer will give you a more smoother look and feels awesome!!!!! Gary Jones says it works awesome with the Wet/Dry and I am a believer now!!!!smileys/smiley2.gif

Also, once you start using your MRP more regularly your foundation will go on much smoother and you'll be able to use a LOT less of it. I have to admit that I don't wear makeup every day, but my wet/dry lasts about 3 months putting on makeup about 3-4 days a week and lasts all day.

Thanks, good suggestions... I didn't even think about the color primer, this is the clear one right...is it secret agent? What i love so far about the makeup is that it takes me so much less time to apply than my old brand. I also don't need a smuch now that I am using microderm and my acne scars are starting to fade...still have those dark circles under my eyes though...

try the Time To Go eye capsules or just your regeneration eye serum. They work GREAT!! I used to have raccoon eyes and now I don't even have to wear concealer anymore. I wish I had a before and after. I could make a fortune selling just the eye creams. Gary is a genius!!

when wearing it wet, spray your face with the herbal hydrating mist and then apply the wet dry. that worked for me. Be sure to let it set before you make a final decision on it.
