congrats on DM! smileys/smiley32.gifI haven't been able to get anyone to host a party. I had one and half my invites were on vacation. I'm doing a town festival Sep 10th and hope to get booking leads.

Can you do more one on one's? People don't have time to have "parties" these days, but they love the idea of "spa nights". Can you change the focus to that?

Just some thoughts.

Corintha,

Are you able to do any during the day? With school starting, you may be able to have some moms get together during the day while the family is away at work & school.

Also, I have been thinking about hosting a few myself with folksI knowwho don't want to be bothered with having people to their own house. I was going to offer door prizes for bringinga guest, outside orders, etc. I figured that would free them up to enjoy the class, see how easy it really is, and peak their interest.

Just a thought or two...

Most of my friends are "partied" out and too busy to be interested so I totally understand. I have had them host online parties by sending out evites. You do lose the personal contact and the ability for them to see and try the products but you also give them convenience and the ability to invite out of town guests. I have the orders shipped straight to each guest. As an incentiveI just offer the hostess free products based on a % of the sales. I also have a drwaing for everyone who orders. I don't make as much $ but I'm not doing much of anything anyway aside from following up. So far so good. At least it is getting the product out there for follow up :))

have you ever sent out an evite or been invited to a party w/ one? go to www.evite.com (http://www.evite.com) and create an invitation. where it says location put in your website. i usually have them last a week. i explain that it's a virtual online party and direct them to my website. i have a drawing for $50 worth of free products as incentive to make a purchase. let me know if you have any other questions.
