I am i just wanted to know if there was anymore that i don't know about. I was just exploring my options. What company are you with?

pinkribbonmom

I'm not with any of the companies. I've been doing some research on them though. As far as low quotas, do you know about The Angel Company? www.theangelcompany.net (http://www.theangelcompany.net) They only have a $100 quarterly quota (instead of $300 like most).

I've mostly been trying to decide between Stampin Up and Close to My Heart. I'm not sure if I will sign up as a consultant at some point, but even as far as buying stuff, I want to buy it from one company. :)

Jamie
05-18-2005, 06:17 AM
No, I'm not with Stampin' Up but I've been to a party before and was really impressed with their line.

I am with Leaving Prints which is a scrapbooking company.

Oh. Your really into scrapbooking? I was a consultant with creative memories for a year or so, have you ever heard of them?

Jamie
05-18-2005, 06:32 AM
Oh yeah!

Creative Memories is very popular. I love their albums but their scrapbooking "style" isn't MY style. KWIM? smileys/smiley1.gif

I have only seen how creative memories does there books. How can they be diffrent?

Jamie
05-18-2005, 06:52 AM
The product line is different.

I'm not into cutesy-type stickers AT ALL.I tend to usemore embellishments, fibers, ribbon, etc and several people have said that CM consultants discouragepeople from using embellishments as theysay they can harm the pictures.

I also enjoy techniques like tearing which I've never seen CM customers use in their books.

Again, I really like CM albums but that's about it. smileys/smiley1.gif

Oh well it's good to hear diffrent opinions. I am not really into scrapbooking at the moment. I am really young and don't have a lot of pictures left to do. I am reallt into stamping. Like making cards and gifts.

I am actually with a jewelry company. It's called The Glass Bracelet. It is a company were you get to design your own jewelry. Including the spacers and clasps. The website is www.theglassbracelet.com (http://www.theglassbracelet.com) you should look around the website and let me know what you think. I could send you more information if you would like?

Jamie

I looked at the Glass Bracelet website a week or so ago and since I make beaded jewelry myself, it isn't the type of jewelry company I should represent. smileys/smiley2.gif

Not sure how how "religious" you are, but Biblical Impressions has a partner program. There's no quotas to meet, and start up cost is reasonable. You also get your own partner page free. If you'd like more info, go to http://partners.biblical.com/ltietz . Edited by: faithfulstamp

I'm with Close To My Heart and love it! I checked out Stamping up and The Angel Company before joining CTMH. CTMH offered the acrylix stamps which I love love love! Their commission was also higher than Stamping up. The start up was cheaper as well. The angel company had a couple of start up options which I didn't like to much. $75.00 for just the paper work, $150 for the paper work and a couple of stamps, or $300 for everything you need to get started.

CTMH just seemed to be the better option for me anyways. Yes we do have a $300 minimum quaterly sales to stay active but you can also drop down to JR. Consultant if you are more of a hobbiest. Honestly the $300 quaterly min. isn't hard to do at all. I did that with one workshop!

Stephanie,

If you drop down to a JR consultant how much do you have to sell quarterly?

Dionnesupermom
05-20-2005, 07:05 AM
Let me go look it up!

Dionnesupermom
05-20-2005, 07:07 AM
Junior consultants are eligible for a 10% discount and only have to submit $300 in sales a year. If you submit that in a quater you are bumped back up to active.

glassbutterfly
05-20-2005, 07:08 AM
Oh ok. I might have to look into that. I really love stamping but i haven't found the company that i want to be with yet. I only want to do it as a hobbiest.

Dionnesupermom
05-20-2005, 07:15 AM
What really sold me on CTMH was the acrylix! I had stamped before using the bulky wood stamps and got so frustrated when I couldn't get the thing to allign up right that I didn't bother stamping. Then I came across CTMH that has the acrylix stamps which 1. blocks are reusable, 2. they are clear. 3 that they store flat! I was then hooked and started stamping like crazy again. I'm so in love with CTMH that I even became a consultant for them. I'm not a big pusher and out having shows twice a week but I do it enough that I can bring in a little income and support my habbit!

glassbutterfly
05-20-2005, 07:17 AM
Well how much is the starter kit?

Dionnesupermom
05-20-2005, 07:21 AM
The starter kit is $150 plus tax and shipping.

glassbutterfly
05-20-2005, 07:29 AM
What does it include if you don't mind telling me?

Dionnesupermom
05-20-2005, 07:34 AM
The kit comes with:

customer order forms, totaling forms, invitations, customer register envelope, consultant applications, hostess rewards form, hostess brochures, intro brochures, home gatherings training DVD, Accessories training DVD, manual, reflections scrapbook program, idea/catalogs, expressions catalogs, scrapbook kits level 1 and 2, stickease, 4 acrylix stamp sets 2 acrylix blocks, postcards, 6x6 album, booking sets, incentive set, recruiting brochure, stamp cleanier, glue pen , card stock, and the quick start quide.

Jamie

I just want to add that a girl at work showed me some of her acrylix stamps a few days ago and I was very impressed. She didn't purchase them from CTMH but at a Scrapbooking fair we had in our city last week but if CTMH has the same stamps as the ones she showed to me, they are really, really nice!

Oh ok. That is a lot of stuff.I will have to look into that. It's either CTMH or The Angel Company. And there is a new company but i am a little weiry about it cause i would be the first consultant but i think that would be awsome at the same time.

glassbutterfly
05-20-2005, 08:14 AM
Thank you for your help Jamie cause i have never seen them. Stephanie how can you reuse the acrylic block over again?

Dionnesupermom
05-20-2005, 08:23 AM
The stamps come un assembled. The work like window clings. You would peel the stamp off and place it on the clear acrylix block (the stamps is also clear acrylix). You stamp with it, clean it, then peel it off the block and put it away. I have 4 blocks that I use for ever stamp set I own.

Wood stamps on the other hand when you mount them most of the time you can't unmount them so then you are left with a bulky wood stamp.

Does that make sense?

glassbutterfly
05-20-2005, 08:42 AM
Yes that does make sense. Thank you very much. I will take some time this weekend and see which one i rather do. Do you have a downline?

Dionnesupermom
05-20-2005, 08:51 AM
No I don't. I just joined CTMH in April. I do have an amazing support of women in my upline and through CTMH.

You can check out my website and if you decided to sign on you can do it right on my website as well. The link is in my sig.

glassbutterfly
05-20-2005, 08:58 AM
Ok thank you very much for all of your help. When i sign do i tell them that i just want to be a JR consultant it will automatically happen?

Dionnesupermom
05-20-2005, 09:22 AM
when you sign up you are automatically an active consultant. As soon as you don't make your $300 quaterly min. then you will drop down to Jr. Consultant.

glassbutterfly
05-20-2005, 09:57 AM
Do you still get newsletter and things mailed to you if you are a JR consultant?

Dionnesupermom
05-20-2005, 10:09 AM
Yes you do.

glassbutterfly
05-20-2005, 10:12 AM
