View Full Version : Need co info

I know this has been asked a lot and I am sorry to repeat the question. I am possibly looking at doing the candle thing. I was wondering if some of the different reps wouldn't mind pm me as to how their company works, how they sell, ect. I'm not sure if I want to make them to sell or just re-sell. I am not really interested in having parties. I am more interested in maybe internet, like a store or might even at times do a booth. I just need info. I have five children and not a lot of money for start up, so that would be a factor too. The reason I need the pm is so I can print them up and go over them with my hubby. I do want to make candles, but maybe just as a hobby, I don't really want to have to carry ins. I would also be interested in info on gel and/or soy. Oh and maybe if any of the companies have suggestions for fundraisers. Right now I am just trying to get my ducks in a row. I need money, and not to have to do phone work for it. Thanks in advance.

Hi BabyFud ~

I'm new to the boards, but I figured I'd add my .02 (otherwise known as your PILE of PMs ...lol)

I wanted to mention that that project idea that I shared with you is
still under advisement for the moment... we can unveil it to folks
later, okay?

Also wanted to put in the word for Soy vs. Parafin just from a marketing perspective .... soy is H-O-T!

Wishing you every success.

Good Luck on picking a company and sponsor. I am going to say something and I am gonna make alot of people mad..don't care.

When someone comes on this board and ask for information. RESPECTthe first rep from a company that has already responded to them. If you see a fellow rep has already sent info to them DO NOT send it again. I would find it very annoying if I kept getting info from the same co. even if it was diff people. There are 3 Mia Bella People here that posted, HELLO! If you are that desperate for reps to sign under you, its a shame.
When people come here for help they do not want to be bombarded by reps saying "pick me pick me" they want help not PRESSURE!

Sorry if it offends some of you, and yes I am a Mia Bella Rep, and if you notice I didn't post here to give info and try to recruit. I am just sick of coming across every post like this where every one is cut throat with each other trying to get recruits. Mia Bella is not that kind of company, and those of you who have been with the company for awhile should know better.

Now I will step down on my soap box.

Thank you for putting that out there Frances. I possibly lost a distributor because they were working with me but were bombarded with pm's from other people in the same company. It was one of themain reasons this person chose another company.

Very well said Frances and I agree with you totally. I would opt to go with another company as well if I was swamped with offers from the same company. Anyone doing that, yes I am going to say it, is only thinking of themselves and not about the person inquiring about the business. This is my opinion on the subject. thanks

Thank you for your support ladies! I would feel very overwhelmed if I was trying to choose a company from that kind of bombardment.

I wholeheartedly agree. Although I am going to take another route and say READ the posts! IKNOW FOR A FACT thatMB isn't the kind of company that that encourages stepping on each other's toes. I'm pretty sure (and hoping this is correct) those that posted after the first MB rep just read babyfud's request and simply clicked 'reply' rather than read who else had posted.

Frances feel free to get on your soapbox ANYTIME. smileys/smiley2.gifsmileys/smiley36.gif

Thanks Dinika, and it is possible, but those who post here on wahm generally know that any kind of question like that is going to cause a mass recruitment effort. Therefore they should take the time to read the post and then there wouldn't be the double post. KWIM? Anywho gotta do some work on my biz's. Wishing everyone well.

Oh, I'm sorry. I wasn't really even refering to the post you mentioned. I thought you were the original "postee". smileys/smiley9.gifScrolled up to see it was babyfud.

That being said, "babyfud", if you would like to check out Gold Canyon candles, feel free to visit my site at www.snazzycandle.com (http://www.snazzycandle.com) for more info. And email(or PM)me if you'd like more info!

Actually, that is exactly what Frances was saying - READ THE POSTS BEFORE POSTING. You will see that on August 27th she posted that she has chosen a company.

I agree that it does get to be too much when someone posts without reading the posts and realizing that either - 1. Someone has already posted from their company or 2. The thread is dead and has ended. As was the case of this thread.

I like to read the posts on here every day and I'm always amazed at how many people don't do the 2 things above.

I read the posts everyday. I rec'd an email that someone added to the thread. It lead me to the last post.

That was not really called for. Glad she found a company!smileys/smiley36.gif
