Hi Everyone,
I am new to beauticontrol and I am having a hard time with my telephone cold call verbage. I have done the friend thing and I have no family. I am now working on my kids friends moms or people that my husband knows but Ireally don't know very well. If anyone could help me with some tips or lines that would be great.
Thanks

Hey girl!
I am no good at cold calling either but I just had to post to tell you that I just tried to send you the link here! lol
As far as cold calling goes, all I can really say it to make it about them and what they get out of holding a SpaEscape, not what you get out of them holding it. Easier said than done, I know.
Good luck! I know you will get some better advice from the other ladies here! smileys/smiley1.gif

yes, I did get the message and thank you again.
I guess it just takes practice with the cold calls.

This topic comes up every now and again. I will search the archives and bump them up for you.
I do a casual girl's night out to introduce neighbors, etc., to a spa. It has been very successful for me. The key is to join in and not make it a sales pitch. I get most of my bookings that way.
Also, there is a good script in the hostess section of your webpage. I use that when I feel like I need some help in making phone calls.
Welcome to the board!

Hold an Open House in your own home and invite neighbors and friends!
Also, go to nearby apartment complexes tell them that you are doing a "resident retention program" and that you are their to help show them how to relieve stress and then show them your products and do spa!!! You may get a lot of bites from this!
I have done all the friends and family also and I am now having to think outside the box! I have had some success with my doctor's offices-take your product guides and SAMPLES and give them to the nurses (preferrably Extreme Repair 1oz) they LOVE that!!!! That should open the doors for posibilities!!!
Tell them you are in a national contest.......then let them try a sample and do your booking verbiage. I would open it up and say "How would you like for me to come pamper you and some of your friends" that usually opens the door for me...it sounds better than "you want to book a spa or party?" Hope this helps!!!smileys/smiley17.gif

Here's a link to another thread where I commented (not that I'm any authority on the matter mind you! smileys/smiley36.gif), but it's the advice I'd give here as well so....why reinvent the wheel when I can copy and paste it right? LOL
Best wishes to you.
