I called Arbonne again today to see if my order had been shipped as promised. I was told 2 weeks ago that it would go out no later than today. The young man I spoke with was kind & patient but what he told me just about sent me over the edge (again). I explained what I had been told about the system glitch in previous calls.I went on to say that Idid not see onmy webstats that the order had shipped. It did however show all of my missing items (including the Open For Business kit) as backordered and "O" or open. He told me that the "glitch" was not actually a glitch.He said that with the 4 day delay in shipping, many consultants had ordered a lot of extra products (so as the shipping delay wouldn't affect them) and then they had the 4 days of delayed shipping. With all of the extra orders processing and then the delayed orders, there was an actual backorder status created on a good number of items, including 12 of my 14. He could not at this time give me any expected date of shipment, but said to keep checking the website for updates. If I do not see any changes over the weekend (they are working weekends now) I should call back on Monday.
I have really been trying to keep my chin up, understanding that no transition goes smoothly, growing pains are good, etc. I give up! I guess I will see it on my doorstep when I see it and I thank goodness that I have not been out talking Arbonne to everyone. I do not like to look foolish and it has been getting difficult enough keeping the happy face on for those friends & family members that I have shared any product/opportunity info with.
