I have been actively pursueing my Arbonne Kingdom since Dec '05. One of the things that drives me nuts is when people continue to use other products and tell the whole world that they do. The second worse thing is giving products from other sources as giftssmileys/smiley5.gif

Remember, we are our best marketing resource - don't sell out on your own business.

Yea, I signed my first wholesale buyer and she wants to get the figure 8 but won't even try the skin care! I hope she'll change her mind later on.

I am giving Arbonne as birthday and Chanukah gifts this season so all my family can try it out. They won't host parties so I have to find some way of getting them to try it. smileys/smiley36.gif

smileys/smiley2.gifI signed my sister as a wholesaler and she was ADAMANT that she would not do this as a business. All she wanted to do was try the Figure 8 to lose weight. Well, she lost 12 lbs in a month and a half and while I was using the RE9 set she noticed changes in my face and ordered thatas well. Guess who's a BB now??? LOL.

Just goes to show you that "results" are a powerful motivator.

This is a great testimony. 97% of people in this industry are
failing, part of that reason is who and how we are approaching specific
groups of people. Our warm market is typically not he best
prospects for building the business, but they do make great customers,
sometimes even after trying out the product they contact us and want to
join our business. What a way to make a living!

Wow John, that's interesting! Could you please expand on that thought. That is so opposite of what I've been told, which is your warm marketare the ones who are the most open to the business. If that's not true, how come, and then were do we go from there?

What I would ask if what has your experience been with marketing the
business to your warm market? Has it been positive? How
many people from your warm market have you sponsored? What will
find is that most people do not have a positive response from their
warm market.

Now here the the marketing reason. Let say we bought a
Mcdonald's. We are telling everyone, we bought a McDonald come
over and check it about. You get to the resturant you think you
are going to get a burger instead they pull you over to the corner and
say if we all buy McDonald's we will be rich! This is how many
people approach their business. McDonald's doesn't activty market
franchise to it customers, nor should we. The assumption is that
since our business usually cost less than a few hundred dollars to
start anyone can do it. This simply isn't true. McDonald's
targets markets just like we should we need to target those who are
most likely to use our products/service. Then also market to
those who are intersted in starting a home based business. Does
this make sense?

Absolutely, it makes total sense. I guess that would explain why a lot of Arbonnettes first buy the product then become business builders, they were able to see the value for themselves because they were talking about it anyway. My experience with my warm market has been that they've been "polite", listened to what I have to say and maybe bought the product. I've found business buildersbytalking to people whoare actually looking for an opportunity to get out of their current situation and are interested in the health/wellness field. They are much easier to explain the whole network marketing thing to because they already seem to have their minds somewhat open.
