I was going to put some of the "ballot boxes" out in a couple of local businesses. I wanted to offer thane chance of a free facial for the winner (yes, they would all be winnerssmileys/smiley17.gif) and up to 5 friends. I just read in another thread that we cannot technically perform the facial. Now I am puzzled on how to proceed. If I were to win a facial, I would expect to receive one not give myself one. Has anyone run into this issue?

offer a spa party, then they do it themselves! I love the spa box/enter to win... Always make them do the facial unless of course you are qualified to do so. You can approach any business that takes people for appts.

Hmm didn't know you couldn't do facials. I know when my mom signed 15 yrs ago that is all the did. I have been doing facial (not with the company just with the products) on my friends for about 10 yrs. For fun of course. My first show I did one for a friends birthday gift. She is now a wholesale consultant. I haven't done them at shows or anything since then. I was just wondering when this happened.

YOU can't "do" a facial....meaning YOU can't touch her face unless you're licensed. But you have her apply the product to her own face. At a spa party, the same applies. You tell them the steps, and they apply the products.

I'm new and trying to learn how you do the ballet box. When people enter to win the drawing, do they win a class? At their home, with their friends, or at my home with all the other winners???

If this is to me.. I meant I put it on their face. I was wondering when it happened that you couldn't do it? I have had people fall asleep while I was doing it too. How do you get licensed?

How do you word it so it sounds like a prize and not the dreaded "host a party" deal? Given that you can't offer a "facial"
