Is anyone actually selling products at any "business". If yes, how are you handling it. Do you sign the business up and have them order online and just take the volume and overrides. Are you selling % of retail to them and letting them resell as full retail.

Just looking for some advice. I have a couple of places in town in mind and want to make sure I approach them the right way. I know the products cannot be placed in a retail business, but I do feel the business' I am targeting fit the "ok" status.

Just not sure how to "work it"

thank you for your advice!

If I understand correctly the products can be placed in a business if it is an appointment type biz, nail salon, hair salon etc. If the owner was interested they could sign up to be wholesale buyers, they then make 35% and you benefit from the volume.

YEAH - this is what we all want. Oh, to have a salon owner - they would be so successful - display all the goodies on one area (bliss). What do we all do when we go to the salon? Ask about products of course...

Good Luck

I have a salon owner as a business builder. She signed up to do the business. It will benefit me because i will make 4% off of her sales and get her volume. She is placing a big order this month and next so that will push me to district. Then I'll make 8%! I already have my $1000 needed. She hasn't placed her order yet though. She wants to wait until the fast shipping. I wish it would hurry up and be ready. She is frustrated with Arbonne and Id ont want to lose her!!!

Just to let you know salons won't make you rich. They will maybe generate a little volume here and there but unless they are educated on the products and are really pushing them they will just sit on the self and not sell. If you sign up a salon and they want to do the buisness it would be better but otherwise it won't be piles of volume. Just what I have experienced.

I was thinking about the salons. I have always found that educating and cheerleading lead to success. Are the folks who are selling to or signing up salons doing a "class" with the employees? Refresher classes periodically? How about offering to do a "party" for 6-8 of the salon's customers (at the salon)? The salon could have a drawing for the 6-8 or award them to their customers for certain things like appreciation gifts. It might be a way to jump start the business for them or it would show them why they should sign up for those who haven't. If nothing else, you are sure to get some leads from those who attend. Just a thought...
