I thought it would be nice to post some tips we all learned for those who couldn't make it. If anyone has any to add, please do so!

SPAWORKS:

-Go to Apartment Complexes, tell them you have a Resident Retention Program. Offer residents stress-reduction appointments.

-Get to decision-maker. You have a special gift for office staff. We choose 1 business per month for a special day of pampering and you've been selected!

-Offer the boss to be the "hero for the day"

-If they ask how much it costs, say "what's in your budget?"

-Tell staff they can get $50 in treatments of their choice for $19 TODAY ONLY (when they set an appointment with you) they redeem it the day of their spa.

IN-HOME SPAS:

-Ask guests 2 questions: 1. What do you do for yourself to relax? 2. How many of you get a good nights sleep?

-While doing SOH, tell guests you primarily do office spas, at the office, vice versa.

-Do a little make-up at the end.

-Tell potential hostess, "I'm in a National contest..." (booking contest, trip etc.) asak them if they will help you out. Women will love to help you!

-Contact 2 people after a spa and tell them they would be great at what you do.

-Don't give personal discounts. Give gift w/set (spa socks, headband)

-Tell them they can break their order down in 2 payments.

-Put Line Reversal Creme on knuckles of one hand, they will buy.

-Time2Go eye capsules-copy info in the box, put 1 or 2 capsules in ziplock baggies (like bath mineral size) put them in re-orders and when people purchase at spas. They will try them and love them!

-Use postcards to book spas with your hot dates. Then they won't see personal stuff on your calendar.

-Ask everyone, "would you get 5 or 7 girls together for me to come and pamper them for an hour?"

-when out and about, wear your nametag upside-down. When someone notices, tell them "thank you! Just for telling me that, you've won a free Spa Appointment from me without going on my waiting list" Make it sound exclusive.

-Zap Paraffin Treatment in the microwave 10 seconds.

This one I found written down in some other notes I found while cleaning out my office the other day:

-Use a booking basket (mini's) Have guests make a list of names of at least 10 people who need to de-stress. Ones with 10 names or more pick a gift from the basket. Tell them if they give you that list and commit to setting a Spa Appointment with you tonight, they will be entered in a drawing for 50% off their order for the evening.

I know that's alot of info, hopefully it will help someone!

Thanks for the tips. Just a few questions...

What do you mean by these statements?

-If they ask how much it costs, say "what's in your budget?"

-Tell staff they can get $50 in treatments of their choice for $19 TODAY ONLY (when they set an appointment with you) they redeem it the day of their spa.

Do you charge them for hosting a spa? Or how does that work?

Ok, like I said b4, the company bought the employees gift baskets.

And the $50 in treatments of their choice for $19 is used to get the office staff to book their own in-home spa. It's like a gift certificate that they redeem the night the have their spa.

There is no charging anyone to have a spa. These were statement made by other people, not things I have personally tried (yet)!

Hope that makes things a little clearer!smileys/smiley1.gif
