Could anyone answer a question that I have. When you are striving
for district, area, or regional managers can you always count your
volumn of sales on your downline? I thougt I read somewhere that you
could not.

Hey!
You can count their sales towards your RV (Retail volume) goal. Now,
if you hit DM, and someone that you have sponsered also hits DM
and you have not yet moved to AM, then their sales DO NOT count
towards your qualifying amounts. Anyone that moves to the same
level as you or above you is no longer in your Central. You only get
paid on those in your central.
Make sense?

Just wanted to clarify this as I understand it. I am an EDM, and I can still use $10,000 from each of my DM's for the purpose of payment and promotion to AM. However if I go about my AM finish, I can apply their ENTIRE RSV towards my RVP qualification in that same month. I will, however only be paid 65% of the $10,000 of my 1st Gen districts.

This all sounds contradicting. I am not sure I understand this. I
want to be sure I pass on correct info to my business builders.

You will always be paid on the entire volume amounts for your overrides. I'll beusing names A(nna), B(renda), C(arla), to help with avoidind confusion.... Let's say, you are EDM Anna and have a DM Brenda who is promoting a DM Carla. Anna is you (Central), Brenda is your First Generation, Carla is your Second Generation. As District, Anna gets paid 8% on her Central, 8% on her First Generation, and 2% on her Second Generation (if Anna has 2 First Generations). Each one of these ladies has to maintain their own Central Districts with $2500. For qualification to Area, Anna can use up to $10,000from her First Generation over the qualification period. If Anna reaches Area before Brenda, then Brenda becomes part of Anna's Central Area. If Brenda gets Area before Anna, Anna gets a $2,500 permanent pickup credit which would be included in the $10,000, ifBrenda promotes to Area duringAnna's qualification to Area. If Brenda gets Area before Anna starts qualifications for Area, then Anna uses the $2,500 permanent pickup credit to help for her qualification to Area. So basically, if you promote somone to the same level as you, you get a huge portion of their volume to help you qualify to the next level. If they pass you and are a higher level than you, you get the permanent pickup credit (which is equal to your central maintenance).
Hope I didn't confuse anyone furthersmileys/smiley36.gif. And if anyone sees something I missed or got wrong, please correctsmileys/smiley2.gif, this is the way I understand it.Edited by: cassandra

The way that I understand it is as long as your downline is at the same level or below you can count the RSV as yours for qualification. I.E. if you are DM and you promote a DM, youstill can count their RSV. If they promote above you to AM, you count $650 towards your RSV.
Make sense?

I agree it IS confusing when you start, and even more so when you have to start explaining it to others. Have you spoken to your RVP or NVP? It is all stated in the policies and procedures manual, but trying to read that thing is like greek to me!!
I had to have my RVP draw out a chart for me before I understood it. If I sit and think about it to much, I still have a hard time understanding it!
The main thing to focus on is as you hit EDM or EDA, you can only take $10,000 towards your promotion, so focus on more than one leg at a time (I know this can be hard when you have a "STAR"), also if you only have one leg at DM, you will only get paid on DM's as deep as you are wide.
Feel free to email me or pm me, to talk more. I definately recommend calling your RVP or NVP too!
