I just received this letter from Bobby
Lawrence, the owner of Leaving Prints. I know that this is Scrapbook
related... but it is also personal for those who built a businesses and
don't know what's going on.






I am so thrilled to have CLOSURE and it lets me FINALLY start building my TLC business up.

We had hoped to be able to send a mass email to all Leaving Prints



Instructors to provide a complete update regarding the status of the



company and our latest efforts to save it.






We realize our sparse communication to the field has been frustrating.



By way of explanation, we were generally quiet simply because we were
short handed and it appeared we were on the verge of a new deal which
took our focus, time and energy, and for which we hoped and had good
reason to hope that at any moment we would be able to relay great news.






At this point in order for us to send a mass email we need special



assistance from our software company. They are not real responsive right
now, however, since you and others deserve to know directly from the
source what is going on, we are sending you this email.






Until yesterday, as referenced above, we had strong hopes that we would
yet be able to resurrect the company. Bobby has worked tirelessly to do
so. Unfortunately, it now appears clear such is not possible.






The only thing we can do now is to clarify that indeed, despite our best
efforts, even second and third efforts, Leaving Prints is going out of
business. We are truly sorry things didn’t work out differently. We had
such good product, programs and people. We take some solace in having
met and gotten to know you and to know that God’s view is bigger and
broader than ours and hopefully good has come of our association.






It was always a pleasure working with you and virtually all Leaving



Prints Instructors. We know you have great personal potential. We wish
you our best.






This email site will soon be taken down. Please accept this as our final



communication out. If you need to contact us, please do so in writing at
PO Box 970939 Orem Utah 84097. Returned packages are not accepted at
this site.

OMG! That's all I really have to say.

This was also received regarding commission checks -

Are you kidding? Oh my I am so so sorry for those who were waiting on those. Wow. That is just plain ignorant. I am SO glad I went to Memory Works last March and got out.

Ya, my Team Leader is SO not going to be pleased when she hears about the commission checks. She hasn't received one since August!

Thats so strange, that so many people aren't receiving them. I even received my december one. The only thing I never got was there were a lot of unavailable items from my order on the big sale....so I just have a "gift certificate" of $40 on my account. Guess we'll never see that!

:( I am so sorry this happened to you gals. After the big SIAS crap you'd think he'd have been more careful abut keeping people updated better than this. That big sale was BS, plain and simple.

Whata loser... It could have been written by Tamme Henry, herself. So full of baloney. It doesn't take a village to write an email. This should have been done three weeks ago.


And, you just can't NOT send out money that you owe to people. I hope someone is owed enough to sue him. Has anyone checked to see if their sales tax was paid back to their state last year? This totally smells like SIAS. Way to go, Bobby. smileys/smiley18.gif

I am also upset about no commission checks from December, we earned those checks and they should be sent to us. But with endings come new beginnings and there is a new scrapbook company officially launching today and it is so exciting!
