Has anyone tried to get business by mailing flyers out to people just by going down the list in the phone book or in their neighborhood to try and get business? I haven't tried it, but I was trying to come up with a way to get the word out and hopefully get some inquiries. What do you all think?

ok, so no one has ever thought about it?

This would probably be a waste of time. The best way to get results is personal contact.

ITA with Wendy.

Sweatpea, you'll have to give people a little more than 10 minutes to reply, especially on the weekend. smileys/smiley36.gifsmileys/smiley2.gif

I have thought of it. Mainly to get the word out that there is an Arbonne rep in the area. I thought of doing postcards but I can't figure out what to write on it. I'm an artist and can't think in words very well. smileys/smiley36.gifWhat would you say?

Also with just calling people out of the phone book, wouldnt that be illegal now because of the do not call list?

I wasn't calling anyone, I was only going to send out flyers to get people interested.

*Designer, with your art skills I bet you could come up with something awesome. I am not skilled in that area at all. lol. What kind of art work do you do?

I do animals, greyhounds mostly, but occasionally people. Here's my online gallery if you want to take a peek.

Designer, you are so talented! That is awesome. How long have you been painting? I wish that I could do it, but I guess it's just something that you are born with. Do you go to a lot of art and craft shows and display your work?

I've been doing art for most of my life. I don't do art shows. The up front cost are just too high. Everything has to be framed and the fees. I just can't afford it.

Carol,

My 7 yr old, Kiana, was sitting beside me & especially liked the Yorkie as we used to have one. Nice work!
