I was thinking about offering Arbonne as a fundraiser for our local High School cheerleaders. Has anyone ever done anything like this? I plan to give my 35% commission to them but my only problem is if someone signs up as a wholesale buyer, what do you give them for profit? Also, did they just hand out catalogs or did you do presentations for them?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I've heard of someone selling only body basics for a fundraiser, the cleansing gel, body lotion, herbal foot care, hand cream. I believe they took orders, just like the girls scouts would for cookies, then delivered. With just those 4 basic products, the cheerleaders could get the orders themselves, and of course you put your gold label on each one. Plus when that 'bulk' order gets entered, they'll get more than just the right now money for the fundraiser, since they'll also be able to buy those for $5 for every $50 purchased. And the $100 for $20 if sales reach $250. PLUS, pretty soon those high schoolers will turn 18! Think of this as an 'apprenticeship' program! smileys/smiley2.gif. But as with everything, I would check with compliance first and make sure the girls could do this.

I'v heard of having a party/open house type thing for fundraising. Youcan do a very brief bit about Arbonne & why it's different then let them shop like ifyou were doing an open house. Also, since high schoolers are going to be into make up I'd definitely have that there. Since it's a fundraiser I wouldn't really do the business part much. Just maybe mention it as well as mention the wholesale account but let them know that since it's a fundraiser you can't offer the WB account for this event but would be happy to open one for them outside the event. Have the girls invite people they know. Family & whatnot. Or just have an regular open house event or make up & lemonade event.
I've also heard of putting baskets together & selling those. Then giving your profit off of that to the fundraiser. You can make a flyer to list the options & sell those. Maybe give some of the flyers to the girls to get orders.
Good luck with whatever you decide!

Because it is a fundraiser, I wouldn't offer the WB discount on those
sales. You can explain the discount if you like, but the whole
point of the sale for the school is to earn money. It's also why
most of the people are buying the products, so they don't expect
discounts.

Another way you can do the fundraiser:
Have the mother of each girl host a party. Make sure whentheir guestsorder you get their name, address and phone number so you can follow up and offer the wholesale option. Great way to get in front of alot of people.
