..and beginning to panic, frankly.

I was excited to find my Arbonne order on the doorstep as I left on my way to my daughter's dentist appointment. I thought it was awfully small and light but shook it off. I just got home & dove in to find a whole TWO products! My Start Up Kit was not even included! I ordered on 7/28/05 and have been patiently waiting. My webstats show the entire order shipped minus the backordered Phyto Prolief. The sheet in the box only has the 2 shipped products listed. I have been on hold with Arbonne for 25 minutes now.

I have to be honest, I am beginning to ask if all of this isn't a sign that I am not supposed to be involved in this.

Teresa,

Please don't panic. I promise this is not the norm for Arbonne. They converted their computer system to a new & improved one to help serve all of us better. It had to be done & there probably never would've been a good time to do it. But I think getting it in before the holiday rush was pretty important. Unfortunately there was a glitch. So some of the orders that went through at the end of July didn't go through right. They are asking anyone who didn't receive their full order or hasn't even received one yet to call & let them know. They will redo it & send it out correctly. This happened with a big order of mine & they were very helpful in straightening it all out. I feel so sorry for our customer service people, they must be swamped between this & all the new people signing up! But it's just a temporary thing. They are working hard to get it fixed & also to help with the influx on new consultant & regular orders.

I was also on hold for quite awhile but, again, I'm sure they are taking tons of calls. I just keep reminding myself how many people are signing up a day along with the computer problems. It will get better!

Thanks Jennifer. That was basically what I was told as well. She also told me the glitch is estimated to be completely repaired by Friday. The customer service person was wonderful, btw. It is disheartening though that my order may not be her for up to 2 more weeks. It was bad enough that my sponsor didn't advise against signing up on the 28th, that perhaps I would want to wait until the 1st. There went my first month opportunities and now my 2nd month wil be just about up before I even receive my Open for Business kit. I have had to cancel a couple of classes as I have no product and no upline to do a loaner...I am on the edge of laughing hsytericallysmileys/smiley36.gif. I did ask if they were going to make any compensation timewise for the glitch. She is checking into this for me.

On a positive note, I am just going to look at this as an opportunity to finish my modules (only 4 to go!!) at Arbonne U and familiarize myself with our awesome website and its wealth of info. Bt the time I do my 1st class, I should know it inside out! smileys/smiley2.gifI am also signing up my first person today, so I'm gonna try to concentrate on the positives!!

Teresa, I just signed up yesterday. What do you mean about
signing up on the end of a month? This this mean that when you join
during a month that that month counts as your first month becoming a DM?

Deborah,

I am not experienced enough to answer about the move up and any qualifying periods. As I understand qualifying periods, they are on a rolling basis. What I meant is that if I were to have joined at the beginning of the month, I could have held some classes withproducts I ordered in my initial order, done some one on ones, etc and probably sold $350 that I could have used towards my RSVP for my 1st month.Edited by: Kiana's Mom

The first month you sign up is your start month. Months run just like calendar months. Typically if I have someone signing up, especially to the the business and if it's the 27th or later I will tell them I would suggest waiting until the first of the month so that their start month is longer. Of course I let them do it however they want, but it just makes more sense to me. I hope that helped!

Let me see if I understand. Will August count as my first month?

Sorry to be so confused.

I just received an e-mail from Arbonne C.E.O Bob Henry apologising for the shipping problems over the last couple of weeks. It is of course due to the new computer program. Everything should be resolved by next week. I guess I was one of the lucky one's I placed an order on the last day of the month and still received a correct order two day;s later. (I live a couple of hours away from the main office)
