So once you have found your 4 business builders (I heard or readsomewhere you should make it 6 in order to have a strong foundation), if you find another business builder through classes and talking about Arbonne to folks should you sign them up under yourself, one of your business builders, or possibly one of your business builders' business builders to help grow your downline?

I would say that you should sign them up under yourself. Go Wide and Deep!

I would help the B/B's find recruits, but at their own classes.

Just my opinion!

It's not wise to give b/b's away, one of your 4 or 5 may end up not doing the biz and you will need a replacement. They say you need a minimum of 4 biz builders, imagine the 4legs on a table, that;s what you need.

This is something you are going to have to decide for yourself since you don’t have an upline to follow. There is belief that you should go wide & then deep & there is belief that you should go deep & then wide. Wide gets you the $$ but deep gets you the strong foundation for your business & then you can go wide. It doesn’t hurt you to build deep b/c if someone stops doing the business then the people under them will just roll up. So that leg doesn’t go away, just the person. It all can get confusing! smileys/smiley5.gif

I have a document that explains going deep & then wide. I can send it to you if you would like, it’s too much to type out, lol.

I personally wouldn't give anyone away, unless you are wide enough and have a first generation that is really struggling and working hard. I gave away a buisness builder that is just flying, I really wish now that she was my first generation instead of second. Its important to help those we sponsor but you don't want to enable them though either.

Jennifer,

I would love to see your deep/wide document. All of that stuff confuses me. What happens when you and someone that you personally sponsored are at the same level? Do you still get all of their volume and the people below them? My friend signed up under me the same month I started and we are both going to be DM's at the end of this month. So then what happens?

As of now she is my only bb.

You will get 2 building months for yourself moving up a level as well as two for anyone you promoted.(first generation)That means all of your sales (not any of your down line) go into your proformance account during your building months. Your friend moves out of your "Central" and starts her own "Central". Her volume still counts for you to move up levels but after your building months are over you will need to maintain as a DM without her because we always need to maintain in our Central. Our Central is anyone in our downline who are not the same level of management as us. As long as you keep looking for buisness builders to help buid up your Central because we always want a strong Central. Clear as mud???smileys/smiley36.gif

I think I've got it, so I will need toget my 2500 DM RV maintance from just MY central district, none of my new DM's volume will count towards my volume, right?

Am I overthinking this?http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley9.gif

Thanks for you help!

LisaMichelle, just PM me your email addy & I'll get it out to you. smileys/smiley1.gif

And, thanks to Katherine's great explaination you've got it! You do get a pick up credit of your promoted out Districts while you are in maintenance mode. It's $650. Have you done the module at Arbonne University about compensation? It is very helpful!

Thanks for everyone's help! I love how we all help each other, there definetly is enough room for all of us at the top!

LMichelle

Just curious what is everyone's level here? I think most of us are just starting out, and we really appreciate the help from those who have been through it!

I made it to District in May 05 and started in dec 05. Going to NTC really helped! I am trying to get to area for Christmas. I must say I am finding it difficult to motivate my team and get them to District....aaahhhhh

Permanent Pick-Up Credit ONLY applies towards qualification to the next level. NOT for maintenance.Permanent Pick-up is listed under QUALIFICATION Program, not MAINTENANCE requirements.

Ex. If you're a consultant and you sponsor someone who goes DM before you. They take their "Central" District volume, you have your "Central" volume. When YOU start qualifiying for DM, you can count $650 ($2.5K for AM,$10K forRVP, $40K forNVP) to qualify YOU for DM.

Thus, you are not "penalized" if someone moves ahead of you.

When YOU achieve the next level, your"Central" must maintain the appropriate volume,LESS the Permanent Pick-up.

Hope this helps.

Well, crud. That is totally not how my sponsor explained it to me. She explained it as the opposite. Sometimes things are so confusing! Guess I need to go back to her & tell her that was wrong so she knows.
