My first order is scheduled to arrive today & I have decided to continue with Arbonne.

I am not sure how I should proceed from here. By the time I signed up, I had done a ton of research and had a notebook with pages of marketing ideas, my list of 100, someone who wanted to sign up under me, and couldn't wait to proceed. I have not received any real support or answers from my sponsor or the Area Mgr, mostly misinformation. I was also told originally by the Area Mgr that she would email me some documents to help me get started and that didn't happen. After I told my sponsor that I was going to quit and why (bad info, the Oprah thing, no guidance, etc), I have not received any calls to clear up any info or encouragement to stay. (I didn't expect anyone to beg me to stay but if I had someone in my downline who was unhappy, I would try to resolve any issues before it was a done deal.)

I have been doing the online training, but I don't know what I should do or where to go from here on physical support, i.e. attending a class to see it in action, having help with my first class, etc. I don't even know who's nation I am in other than she is the daughter of the Area Mgr. I think her name begins with an M, Michelle or Melissa possibly.

Does anyone have any ideas?Edited by: Kiana's Mom

You could go to the webstats page and click on current period. Click on your name and it should give you the name of your sponsor. If you click on her name, you should get her sponsor and so on.Then you could just contact someone else in your upline and hope that they are willing to help or provide you with place/time of local meetings/trainings.

Hope this helps! My sponsor hasn't been helping me much lately either!

Hi Teresa...

I am so sorry to hear that your sponsor isn't taking a more active role in your business... but don't give up! You can find the support you need... like Diane said... continue to contact others in your upline until you find someone to help... or go to local meetings conducted by another group.

The generosity of consultants that will let you participate with their group is amazing to me.. and the women on this board are particularly helpful.... Are you a member of the Rbonboard on Yahoogroups? I think that group is a valuable resource as well.....

If you ever need anything.. feel free to contact me... I would be glad to have you listen in on our training calls... we have them weekly... and we have many handouts/fliers, training workbooks, etc. that I will share with you.

Don't give up--- you can do this... we will all help you!smileys/smiley36.gif

Teresa...

Just read your post... Call Arbonne and they will be able to provide you with your sponsors info... and should be able to access your upline's info as well...

Great idea Diane!<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Teresa,

I am so glad you decided not to quit. We need people like you in the company! Unfortunately, sometimes we end up under people who don’t understand how important it is to help your new people in the beginning. They should understand that the better you do the better they do so it’s in their best interest to help you as much as possible. Like Diane said, keep going up the line. If you end up not having anyone help you then that’s ok, you can still be successful. A lot of people have had to train themselves for one reason or another. That just means you are going to become a leader that much faster!

As far as being able to see a class or having help with your first couple of classes…don’t worry about it if it doesn’t happen. If you were under a sponsor in a different state you probably wouldn’t have been able to do that anyway. And a lot of people are sponsored by people out of state. Granted, it’s pretty dang scary to have to go in a lone & having not seen one & I hate that you may have to do that in the end. But it can be done! Hopefully, your first party is with family & friends so it can be a nice practice session for you. And if you are upfront with the people there & let them know you’re a newbie who’s never seen it then they will be very easy on you. And even helpful, lol.

I wish mystarz was still up because there was a presentation on there that you could watch. I can’t remember who it was by but I am sure it’s on one of the other websites out there. A lot of the NVP’s have great sites that are very helpful. Does anyone remember seeing that video & who it was? Also, in the business aide section of our shop online there are audios & videos that might be helpful to you.

Other than that, I have a lot of stuff I will be happy to send you. Just shoot me a PM if you’re interested & you & I can figure out what you need.

I think there is some great help here. I hope you don't give up. I have had great support. My mom is my sponsor. smileys/smiley36.gifBut I know my RVP/ENVP very well. She has been my moms sponser for 15 yrs. I am lucky I know. If you have any questions I am sure us here would love to help. As well as I know my NVP Thea O'Donoughue wouldn't mind you listening to our training calls either. If you need anything feel free to ask here or me personal. Good luck we are all here for you. smileys/smiley32.gif

I found an awesome new website ( since mystarz was closed) pm me for that website if you like. I also have a pile of info that I saved from that site, If you let me know what kinda of info you are needing. I think that is so unfortunate about your upline. When you sponsor someone you are really make a big commitment to them to help, not just leave you hanging. There is a buisness aid you can buy, I think its around 10.00 that is a presentation on DVD and an amazing DVD about Cecilia Stoll at NTC 2005. This is a MUST for all new consultants. I wish they had that when I first started. We are all here to help!smileys/smiley31.gif

Katherine, don't you just LOVE that DVD!?! I was so happy they added Cecilia's NTC presentation. She was my favorite speaker at NTC. (besides Rita, lol) I left the dang auditorium afterwards crying, lol. Thank goodness it was time for lunch!

I would recommend that DVD set to everyone & at $8 it's worth it! smileys/smiley32.gif
