Has anyone from sbd gotten a refund or products lately? i had this in the sbd folder but i dont think anyone goes there anymore. i am really getting mad because i havent gotten either. i was just wondering if i was the only one. i emailed teresa and i got no response.

I have not been refunded for my kit, but I did get it a while back, so I guess I don't need a refund. Although it is a bummer that I spend the money, but I have spent so much money on things I don't need or can't use in the last year. Maybe it can be a tax write off?

We didn't get refunds for kits. Only for orders that were open at the time of the announcement that they closed, if they hadn't been shipped yet.

I received a refund for my orders that were placed on June 30th.....and it's funny as I was told they had already shipped BEFORE they closed, and then I got a few of the items that I had ordered last week??????


I, too, inquired many times to both Teresa and LeighAnna about refunding our kits, or at least a portion of the kits for all that useless paperwork we received. No word on that, as of yet. I also filed a complaint with Paypal regarding my kit, but was told they couldn't help me. But, then yesterday I received an email from Paypal stating they had re-opened my complaint and would be emailing the owners. Perhaps, Paypal received lots of complaints about them!!!!


I've also heard through the grapevine that one of the reps has started her own business with LeighAnna making the candles. I don't know about anyone else, but I would not have anything to do with ANY company Teresa or LeighAnna are involved in in any way, shape, or form!

Yes, I was refunded also, I think in the first couple of days after the closing.


And yes, they are opening a biz just as you said. No announcements on the products yet, though, just the scents, kits, and compensation plan.

Sue I am the same way, i ordered over $100 in retail in products on june 30th and i was told that they were shipped the day before closing and i have gotten neither a refund or the products and i am really starting to get upset. i dont know what to do cause i could really use that money right about now. it was a stretch for me to do that in the first place.

Did you pay for these products via Paypal? If so, have you filed a complaint? It may be to your advantage to try this. I filed one about a week after they closed for my starter kit refund, as I never got any answer from Teresa on that. I had purchased the $75 kit, so I WANT that money back.


Well, to make a long story short, back in July when I filed the Paypal complaint, it was denied by paypal. Yesterday, I received an email from Paypal stating that they re-opened my claim for the $76.50 kit, and they would be contacting SBD. I can only assume it is perhaps due to a high volume of Paypal complaints regarding them. So, this is one avenue you have if you paid via paypal, Heather.


SBD now has ten days to respond to my complaint. Paypal said if they do not respond, the complaint will go in my favor.....I'm hoping this means I will get my money refunded. smileys/smiley1.gif

I haven't recieved a refund yet but did get an email from Teresa saying she was still doing refunds.

I heard this news too. The company is being opened by Sandy Peters I believe, and Heather Lange and Margaret Ropp will be Co-Founders, and LeighAnna will be producing the products. The company name is supposedly Kitty's Spa Delights. I don't have any knowledge of the scent list or compensation plan, other than it will be very similar to what SBD was.


My sisterhas not been refunded overa $100 as well, in addition to her kit purchase.While I choose not to take part in the bashing on here, becauseit is simply not my character,I do feel bad that I talked my sister into joining what I thought was a good company.Idid receive myrefund, and feel badforall of you whohave not, which includes my sister.You can bet I do have the means tobe checking intothe rights she does have :)

I have received my refund for my kit, I too ordered products on 6/30 and still have not received them either after seeing several times that they were mailed out already on the yahoo group.

I have emailed Teresa several times, the first time she refund the kit money and since has not replied or issue the other refund. I am going to look into filing a complaint with paypal. thanks

Is this fair to them. They have picked themselves up from a low place when SBD closed. But they have faith in my 25 + years of retail management and direct sales experience. And they are excited to be part of Kitty's Spa Delights Founding team.

Anyone who paid by cresit card directly should contact their cc company
.... there is a way to get refunded that is built into the beasties ;-)



Should be even easier than Paypal refunds.
