I had a party this weekend and I have 3N and my business builder has 2W. We brought both so the guests could compare the color. The 2W is listed before the 3N in the catalog but actually looks darker than the 3N. Is it darker because is a warm vs nuetral. I'm so confused when helping guests pick out colors in make up.


One of my customers wants a lighter shade than the 3N so would I go w/2W?

A hint is if you put a piece of white paper up by the face and they are more red they are cool and more yellow they are warm. Many people will be hard to judge and they are neutral. I don't know your product but it probably is darker since the warm and neutral shades are differnt.

Where does your customer most closely fall -- into warm or cool? If cool (blue eyes, blond hair; blue eyes,brown hair; blue eyes, black hair), you should recommend 1C. If warm (brown eyes, brown hair, warm skin tone), recommend 2W.

Thanks guys for the input. I will get her the 2W as falls into that category I just do not want it to be darker. She is very easy going to if it's not right we can always return it. Thanks again.
