Ok, I don't know a lot of people to begin with to introduce these products to. I haven't received my packet yet that comes with the $29. It looks as if I'm going to have to order another package for $96 in order to get catalogs and stuff. How did you all sell items or break the ice before you even had anything to work with? I have nothing to work with.
Just bare with me I'm having a breakdown:)

hon, you can go online to www.arbonne.com (http://www.arbonne.com) and go to the Internet Consultants section and find some sell sheets and order forms under the FIELD SUPPORT -DOWNLOAD FORMSsection.

*see if you can buy/borrow a few catalogs from your sponsor until yours come in
*see if you can buy/borrow some samples from your sponsor - not just the RE9, but the thermal fusion mask, biohydria eye cream, & rejuvenating cream - these little samples are inexpensive, but they often result in a retail sale
*order some free business cards from vistaprint.com, or just print up some on your computer with the basic information (just something to get you by until you get better quality ones) and start passing them out to everyone! better yet, hand-write a discount on the back or print off some "return address labels" with "buy 1 item, get 2nd item at consultant's discount", or whatever discount you are willing to give to get some business stirred up
*send out a "prospecting letter" via email or post, telling briefly your why for starting an Arbonne business, what makes Arbonne different, and directing them to the Arbonne website. I have a sheet about navigating the Arbonne website, just tells them how to getto the product pages, people pages, independent consultant compensation summary, etc. The main thing is to let your excitement about your new business come through, people won't care that you aren't operating fully yet, but they will notice that you are so excited to share the products and opportunity that you just can't wait for another week until your stuff comes in to share it with them! I think in an earlier post, someone had pasted a good introductory letter you can follow from Jamie Kanner's website.
*Mention to everyone the new holiday products - they will be available to sell Sept. 1, but stir up some anticipation now. Many of the items from last year sold out way before Christmas, especially the fabulous body butters, so you can let people know that they may not want to wait to order those because they could miss out.

Thanks ladies. I have been trying to think up a way to start. I haven't heard from my sponsor since I signed up last week. I will have to call her and see if she has anything that she can give me. Thanks again for the information. I love this board.

I would really contact your sponsor, and you don't get help there go up to their sponsor and so on until you find some in your upline who will help. It will take a bit of money(samples, catalouges ect..) before you start breaking even, but don't give up. You can go online to internet consultants, then Library to find PDF sheets that you can print about each product. I did that at the beginning and then took them to staples and had them laminated. Then when I was talking to someone about a product I could pull out my sheets and show them. I got 90% of my info from there and its too much info to remeber at the beginning. Remember it will takeyou a couple months before you really get to know all the products.Let me know if you can't find it!smileys/smiley2.gif

Oh and this has nothing to do with Arbonne, but dumb me just realized that I spelled my username wrong. It says Sweat instead of Sweet. So I'm Sweat-pea instead of Sweetpea. Darn.smileys/smiley36.gif

I got started by having 2 launch parties at my house back to back. All I had were the 4 Re9 items that I had bought for myself. I signed up 6 people the first night and sold $500.00 in product. Remember the products sell themselves, focus on selling the business. People don't go to bed worrying about pimples, they worry about how they are going to pay the bills. Get out of your comfort zone, talk to as many people every day about this lucritive biz opp that you have found.good lucksmileys/smiley1.gif
