Hi,

I have been making appointments lately for my business which is a great feeling. I have been lucky enough to have my Mom come over and watch my 3 young children with little notice. However, I amfeeling sort of guilty to spring these on her plus I know there will be a time when she won't be able to come over. I am contemplating whether I should try to find help... I was wondering if anyone hires someone to help watch their children while they are working on their business. I could use some goodadvice!

Thanks!

Well, if you're going to pay anyone, you might as well pay mom. If paying is stretching the budget, though...try bartering. @for hours of babysitting.

I use to pay my babysitter in @rbonne she loved it! To bad she got married and moved.. I am personally looking for someone myself to come watch the kids for a little bit while I work.

How exciting for you that you're growing! Next thing you know, you're gonna be interviewing for an assistant!!

Teresa--Haha, I wish! smileys/smiley36.gif I just have too much stuff to do and not enough time. Maybe I'll have to get creative and pay some neighborhood teenagers with lip gloss to babysit LOL.

If you can give your sitters receipts then you can write it off your taxes (at least in BC).
