I want to start my own little scrapbook artist business. Not selling scrapbook products but creating the pages in the books by using clients picts and things. I don't know where to start? What to do first? Does anyone have any helpful ideas? Please let me know.
Thanks!
Hope to hear from you soon.

I actually have a yahoo group for this specific topic email me at emily3247@sbcglobal.net and I'll send you and invite.
I started downtown at the county auditors office...all states are differnt but I can tell you for Ohio you need a transiet vendors license, if you plan to do craft shows so that you can sell county to county. If you just sell in one county you just have a regular vendor license and if you sell online you need a delivery vendors license. This is for paying sales tax which you collect and send in twice a year in January and July (at least here) These cost $25 and I didn't need to register my business name because they don't recognize DBA names being a sole propritor (sp?)
So that's a start if you have any questions just email me I'd be glad to help!
