I have a question. Does anyone know if I can order just 1 jar candle from Customer Service if I call them? I really don't want to order a case and don't want to order 6 NOR do I want to keep any inventory in my tiny apartment.

I really need a Texas Cedarwood jar for a customer.

You can order from your own retail store. HTH

Maybe you could ask your upline or someone in your area if they would be willing to add one onto their next order (if they are ordering soon). That may be a lot of trouble, but it is my understanding that the least amount is 6. Now, your customer can order from your website.

Good luck,
Melissa

Jen,

Looks like we were posting at the same time. If we order from our retail store then how does the comm work? You can pm me if you like.

By the way, I tried to pm you back, and my computer froze (love those macs). Anyway, to answer your question I signed up under Susan in Chicago. She was one of my Kats customers, and she sold me on this business!

Take care,
Melissa

Yes, you can order as a customer at your own site.

You will receive your comission back on your next check/direct deposit.

If you haven't done this before, you need to know that your customer will have to pay extra for the shipping of that one jar.It is much more costly percentage wise to ship just one jar than to ship6 jars. You will likely need to addan extra$5 for the shipping.

Hey there Melissa,

Very cool when you can "network" like that!! One of the things I LOVE about having your own home business! You meet lots of people in different businesses and you never know whena little "business" might come your way! Makes it a pleasure!

Exactly AbbysMom - you be your owncustomer!!

Hey abbysmom,

I was going to order one jar candle from my site...until I saw the total price! It was going to cost $30.00...I decided to just place the order for 6 candles in the back office. I just couldn't justify spending $30.00 for one candle. I just told my customer the candle would arrive in 1-2 wks. The other 5 candles I sat in my booth at the antique store to sell!

Oh my goodness Deadra, $30.00! Wow! That is unbelievable! No wonder you decided to order the 6 pack. I don't think there is a candle in the world, I would pay $30.00 for. lol.............smileys/smiley36.gif

I can't imagine why it would cost that much for one candle.

I'm glad it worked out for you and your customer. Good luck at your antique mall. I hope that is working good for you. Have a good day!

Deadra is right! When we first got online ordering I went to place an order for 1 jar and the shipping was like $7 and then tax, it was almost 30$ for me too. I think it came to $27. Even with the $5 credited back to us for the sale that was $22, So i ended up paying MORE for the jar than I charged my customer.

So I did the naughty thing and got the candle from another distributor for $10. smileys/smiley9.gif

oookay...thanks.

Since I don't have a retail store to sell the other 5 in...I will just order the jar itself through my site.

Like I mentioned I don't want clutter in my apartment.

thanks peoplessmileys/smiley1.gif

Hey abbysmom,

Do you know of anyone else that may be interested in buying the candles? With Christmas coming up, people will start looking for teacher gifts and such.

Do you have a jar candle on hand? If you do, take it with you where ever you go - let people smell it, like the bank teller, cashier at Wal-mart, grocery store....smell it, sell it.

I know 6 candles are more costly, but you could pick some fragrances like French Vanilla, SO&CP, Clean Cotton, etc.

As far as taking up space - put the extra 5 in a cabinet, under your bed, place them as sit arounds...heck, sit them in your bathtub (when you're not using it smileys/smiley2.gif). I just hate to see you pay that much for one candle.

Good luck to ya!
