I am doing my research on these 3 candle companies. I am thinking of joining one of these candle companies, and I have got some wonderful info from reps that work with these companies, I would just like to hear more about why you joined the company you did, and how long you havebeen withthe company. Tell me why you are proud to rep. the company. Thank You

Hi Tonia

I believe I already PM'd you with information about White Lily, but I am happy to share with my reasoning behind joining the company.

My initial attraction (I must admit) was the Monkey Farts fragrance! That got my attention, and drew me in. I was speaking directly with the president of the company (which said a LOT to me - that she was so willing to work with me and so helpful (Thanks, Angela!))

I actually ended up joining without even smelling or seeing any of the products! It just felt right. The day I got my kit, I promptly put in a larger order just for myself. I was hooked.

White Lily launchedmid January, and I joined in late April (or was it early May?). Since I have started with the company, I have loved it. I think that comes across in the way I speak about the company, the way I advertise, and even in the way I post on message boards and communicate through emails.

I have found it is very easy to sell the products - they are all natural, which is a huge thing for me and for my customers - and the huge selection of fragrances is amazing. There honestly is something for everyone. I also like that everything is custom made as it is ordered. Who doesn't want something made especially for them?!

Please feel free to contact me if you have any more questions, anytime.

Sincerely,

Rebecca

I am the same as Rebecca, Monkey farts is what caught my attention. I joined also without smelling a single candle. Their business just clicked with me as well as their price. After doing all my research with other companies something about WLC just fit for me. When I get my kit I will let you know more abouteverything I've received and what it's like.

I also joined without smelling a single candle as well. Granted I'm
sure you can have companies out there that make really bad candles, but
with the reputation going with consultants as well as consumers, the
overwhelming message was that the companies represented here had all
proven they had a good product, so what I looked at was the plan itself.

White Lily was the best fit for me and my lifestyle because I could
order only what I wanted to, as little or as much. They also had such a
wonderful variety of products with a huge scent line that it made it
difficult to choose what I wanted! LOL! But I managedsmileys/smiley2.gif
At the time there was a small quarterly minimum but I knew that I would
EASILY spend that in my personal purchases alone, but they even did
better than that, they dropped it to no minimum requirements for a
basic distributor!

The online ordering was one of the more important things for me. The
webpage is very easily maneuverable to view and order products.

Good luck with your decision and if you have any questions, Rebecca will be able to take care of you!

Hi Tonia!

Weare distributors with Mia Bella Candles and have been for over a year now and love it!!

We have been with a few other direct sales companies before, but Mia Bella had more of what wewere looking for.Wonderful Gourmet Candles, great compensation plan, and the abilityto do so many things with this business. You can sell in a retail setting, focus on Fund-raisers, do Home Parties, sell at craft shows/expos or just simply recruit.

Everyone fromthePresident of the company down to the customer service dept has been wonderful and go out of your way to answer your question and help.

Our products are very easy to sell. One smell and people are HOOKED!! This has been the easiest business we have ever done. Once they alsosee how clean they burn the are amazed and want more!

This is the last company we can honestly say we will be with, they give us everything we were looking for and more!

Hope that helps! If you have any questions, feel free to email me at dvineall@burningcleancandles.com

Tonia,

I don't think there are very many Bittersweet Candle Reps that hang out on this board as there are with other candle companies, so your numbers will probably reflect that in the poll.

I'm one of the only main reps here on wahm.com board. There are a couple more that drop in from time to time but most don't post on a regular basis. Which, if you are thinking of building a team could be great for you. At times I can't keep up with all the emails and requests. I'd love some company here on the boards. smileys/smiley1.gif

Why did I join The Bittersweet Candle Company over the others? I was with White Lily Candles in the past and for personal reasons decided to leave them. After that I looked at a variety of candle companies, mainly Bittersweet, Mia Bella, Gold Canyon and the now closed Sweet Berry Fields. I decided on Bittersweet - why? Because they offered exactly what I was looking for in a company. A FREE website, a great commission rate of 40%, quick shipping, no minimum order amount, online ordering for my customers, drop shipping to their door and a company with a 5+ year reputation in business.

I know i've spoken to you in the past about the Bittersweet Candle Company - if you have any questions, please let me know.

Oh, and I forgot that they collect and submit your sales tax for you. I didn't want the hassle of doing that myself. Too much extra paperwork for me - i'd rather be spending that time with my family.

Tonia,

You should be receiving the CD I sent you today.

I joined Mia Bella mainly because of the opportunities it offers. Yes I love the candles and they are the only candles I can burn in my house since my husband and I suffer from allergies.

Here are my reasons: We have a great profit margin for our distributors, the fact that we have a great Fund Raising program to help organizations during the time when their budgets are being cut, the training that Scent Sations offers is the best I have seen ( I have been in Network Marketing for about 10 years now),we are growing right now but you can still send questions to the foundersof the company and they will answer you,ScentSations is always adding new pay levels for it's distributors, you can put the products in retail places such as salons or doctors offices and the fact that our candle are cleaner burning and triple scented.

I look forward to talking with you soon,
