I have always been PT 8-10 hours a week. I have 4 kiddos 10,6,4,1 They are my FT love & passion for now. Once they get older and I am done with the mommy stage I cant definitely see myself working my business FT 40 plus hours a week & LOVE IT! I am not rushing the mommy stage kids grow so fast I am trying to enjoy every minute of it!

I'm p/t as well, at least for now. I work another job and caretake for my mother, who has Parkinson's and is very handicapped. So, at the moment, I do AP between other things. Not the ideal situation, but it works. I rarely get long spans of time to work on AP. I snag 10-15 mins here and there. I suspect we all do things a bit differently to make them work for our particular lifestyle. Sounds like you've got it fairly well figured out for you and your family.

When I was new, I only worked my AP business part time about 15-20 hours a week. I worked it like Terri, in the cracks of my life around everything I had going on, a job, two preschoolers, life, etc. But doing that consistently for a year or so developed into something amazing. Then I fired my boss and have worked AP full time ever since, 8:00 - 3:00 when my kiddos are at school. Then here and there around my family's schedule.

LOVE that we can work around our schedules! The flexibility totally spoils us

Talking

I have two small children at home with me, so it really is just working around their schedule. I can only imagine what I could accomplish if I had just a few solid hours a day, lol....it is more like 30 minutes, 15 there, but it works out! I couldn't imagine leaving them in daycare just to go to work, I make more with AmeriPlan than I ever did working a great job with lots of long hours and pressure....this business is worth the time it takes to build!!!

I too work PT, I am currently working full time M-F 8:30-5 at another job and I have 2 little girls 7and 2 and I am due with baby#3 at the end of March. Once the baby is born I will not be going back to my current FT job and working AmeriPlan as much as possible but will continue to be PT since my kids will always come first
