Default Angels among us?

I know this is completely off topic, but I just had to share this:

Something weird happened yesterday (friday). I have been stressing out like mad crazy past few months. While at walmart, the guy in front of me was checking out and we had a nice little convo. He told me he was 83 yrs old and been shoveling his drive way due to all the snow we been having. The guy was in amazing shape at 83 yrs old! He didnt even look it, maybe 50! Here comes the weird part. While talking to him all my worries, my fears, my anxiety, my stress just completely melted! I'm re-stressing out right now though, but it was an amazing feeling. I was actually smiling and laughing and felt happy for once for the past few months. Whoever he was, it felt like an angel was sent down to me to help me get over all my stress or have a breath of fresh air for a moment. It may only have lasted for about 5 minutes, but it was the best 5 minute feeling I've had in a LONG time! During that short bit of time, I felt like I was on cloud 9, like I could accomplish anything and everything. And of course after getting home, that feeling went completely away and now I am back to re-stressing out and praying like a nun. Anyway thought I would share that story with everyone.

What a beautiful story! I'm glad you experienced that wonderful feeling!
You can capture it again. Just let go! If an angel came to you and told you that you were going to get everything you wanted if you just relaxed and believed it - wouldn't you be able to do that?

Think about how you would act! How different would your days and nights be? You'd be excited and happy and just enjoy life.

You can worry and stress about things and it won't change anything. In fact, your stressful energy will push all the positive energy away.

You can choose to Believe in yourself and your higher power and relax and feel that wonderful positive energy envelope you again. And then the right thoughts will come to your mind and you are guided to do the things that will bring you what you want and need. If you Believe.

You won't know when and you don't care - you just know it will come and it will come at the right time - if you believe it. If you need something at a certain time, then ask for that to happen. Ask only once and then believe. If you keep praying and asking, then it shows your doubt.

Many people do not know what to do once they relax and let go and believe. Just be happy and excited and DREAM - dream of what your life will be like when you reach your goals. It's so much fun to dream!

Write your dreams down or type them. Make them your goals. Longterm goals, midterm goals, short term goals.

Try not to think about what happened in the past, or what could happen but think only what you WANT to happen. Keep positive thoughts because you really can get what you wish for.

Doubt may surface from time to time. It happens to most of us. You may not know how to fight it or what to say or think - then just don't do or think anything but say to yourself or out loud - "I Believe and Thank You". Thank you because you are getting what you want so you must show thanks. It's an act of faith. Then go on about your life knowing that everything you're doing is because you're guided to do it. You've got a good head on your shoulders and you know right from wrong. Thoughts and ideas will begin to pop into your head and you will feel a calmness and excitement as you know you are being guided to do what is needed to reach your goals.

Every morning think "I wonder what exciting things are going to happen today!" If a problem arises, just ask for help, tell your body/mind to help you fix it. Say I believe and thank you and then do not fret, go on about your day and know that answers will come.

When I first learned to trust this and believe, I had to say those words a hundred times a day! Now I only say them for new goals or to pray in thanks for goals achieved. Or just to be thankful for all I have. I treasure everyone in my life and every moment. And I mean every thing. Even the snow, the smile on my little granddaughter's face. Even when I drink a glass of water or cook for my family, I'm thankful for all of this.

We all have this power within us - if you can just believe, then you will release that power and you'll have the life you dream of. It is like this for me and my family and all who just believe!

Change your Thoughts and Change Your Life! (Norman Vincent Peale)

I had something similar happen quite a few years ago. It was while I was going through a divorce. I was sitting in the dentist office with my two boys, awaiting their appointment. This tiny little elderly woman walked in and sat next to me. She had started up a conversation with me about the boys, complimenting me on their manners, etc., was speaking about her own children who are now grown, and telling me of her late husband, describing him as her "soul mate". She then leaned close to me and told me 2 things that I will never ever forget. She said...don't spend time focusing on things you cannot change. And...focus your efforts on those who bring out the positive in you. She said...when you do this...your "soul mate" will find you, too! And just like that...she walked out and didn't come back in. It was the strangest thing! She didn't even have an appointment there. I felt like she was sent to me during that time, to give me the support that I needed. I will never forget her. And I will never forget what she told me.

And I agree...It was an amazing experience! Thanks for sharing this!

That's wonderful. If you run into him again I think you need to send him to some of us. LOL! I don't know why (have a feeling it has to deal with 2 sick kids) but I feel really stressed right now.
