Default Leads Vendors and Phone Burner

Hi Ladies (and Gents),

I am not in AmeriPlan but I know a lot of you work leads.

I was wondering if any of you have used Phone Burner and/or if you have lead vendors that you can recommend.

I posted something similar in the Networking forum but no response so far.

Thanks in advance

I don't work generic leads much but if I worked a lot of leads, unless you have hours to be on the phone, I would use phone burner or one of the other auto dialers. What you can do is do the free trial and see what you think (most will give you free leads for trying them out). In terms of leads, if you're just starting out I would go with the older, least expensive leads to develop your skills first. When purchasing leads the main thing is how they are captured (are they completing the form for a chance to win a laptop?)

I don't use it either, and I don't think many of us do because we get highly qualified leads through our "request interview" page so we don't need to work generic leads for the most part. I would do what Laura said and try the free trial (I'm assuming they have one ). Best wishes!

I would also like to know what is a good place for good leads, Im hitting a wall with finding prospects and my enroller purchased some not so good leads where the numbers were not working. I just want to get on the ball with this and have no prospects to work with.

The best leads are the ones you generate yourself.

Yes, that's true.

But while you are learning how to market, and while you are waiting for responses to come in from your advertising, what are you using for leads?

I think for me I just continue to consistantly advertise so I have a steady stream of leads I generate myself coming in. I've done leads before and have done ok with leads from a coop...but it's almost better IMO to keep doing your local and online advertising so you have a steady stream of leads coming in. If it's not steady then the way you are marketing may not be working (I say you in general, not you personally lol)

So I'm not really the best person to answer since I don't buy leads but just wanted to offer my opinion.

This is where I am, most of those that I have signed up were people that I knew or came across. If Im working mainly from home, I can't find as many prospects. I'm trying to get prospects and that is wht I need the leads

Well, I'll tell you what I have learned so far.

I have known about leads and calling with scripts for years but I never really did it.

I am mostly a warm market kind of person.

But anyway, a few days ago I signed up with Phone Burner. So I'm still on the free trial.

I also had a bunch of old leads, free leads, and cheap leads that I uploaded into Phone Burner.

I tried two methods for scripts...

1. This method entailed me simply driving people to my website. The script is very short. I just ask are they looking for full or part-time and a few basic questions about what they are looking for.

2. The second method is more of an interview script. The goal being to do an interview or leave a message to schedule an interview.

Phone Burner also leaves a voicemail and/or sends an email to the prospects I call.

Well, I only called about 100 to 150 leads. That sounds like a lot but with Phone Burner it took me less than two hours. It might have even been more like an hour.

You know what? Both methods are working, to my surprise. Especially with old leads.

I am having people that are opting in to my website even though I have not spoken to them.

I am also having people that are calling me back for an interview.

Most of my leads are very old (I'm embarrassed to say how old). I am mostly doing this for practice.

I can't decide which method I like better. The optin leads are nice because the system I am using tells me if they watched the video. Plus now they are in my autoresponder and I have a current phone number for them. So I can always call them back and interview them, or keep them on my list.

The interview script I like (at least in theory) since so many people have had success with Dani Johnson, but the short script seems faster.

So, I'll keep you posted.

That sounds great, I will have to look into that. I'm open to new things especially if they are free.
