I do like your domains...very nice...
I find more traffic in places that are unique (you know - not a ton of AmeriPlan reps already on that site/posting ads). For example, I had an extended breastfed baby (she stopped at 19 months) and was baby weened and she is also cloth diapered. So in addition to posting ads at work at home places, I also work in the fact that I am a WAHM when I am on breastfeeding chats and cloth diapering chats. I don't post ads there because it is off topic, but I make what I do "known" and if they come to me, great. I have two cloth moms that are interested in AmeriPlan. I am just in the follow-up process and if it is right for them, they will join... So I find that the best places are the unique ones... I also have a background in HTML/DHTML/Java. I used to do web design for the Department of the Army. So if you ever run into a code problem, let me know - I would be happy to help. Karen |

Hey Laylana. Karen offered some great advice.
If you go into the training site in the reference library, online marketing section, you'll see a list of places to advertise. This will get you started and then you can expand from there. There's a training call every other Saturday (the 2nd and 4th Sat of the month I believe) just on advertisting so if you can, that would be a great call to get onto. HTH.

Yep what the ladies said is true. The call Laura talked about is AWESOME! Tresie is like the queen of free online advertising...she gets so many leads from it that she can't call them all back! So do what she says
In addition to the sites listed on our training site what you can do is google as if you were looking for a discount plan or dental insurance and see what sites are listed. Some sites you'll find that it's extremely low to advertise! You can go to www.alexa.com to see their traffic ranking. The closer they are to #1 (where Google usually is) the more traffic they get, the more likely your ad will be clicked on and your site will be visited. For me to keep things straight I focus mainly on advertising locally for members and online for recruiting. Through your research online you'll start meeting other Moms who might have well trafficed blogs etc. that will have cheap spots for advertising. You can even get creative and do like I did...a girl who had a decently visited blog asked a bunch of people to vote for her to get some SEO help for free on some site. I went and voted for her, then emailed her saying that if she gave me 2 months free ad on her site that I would email my email list of people I had on another social network so not only would she get more votes but her blog would be visited more. She said ok so I got 2 months free ads on her site! Of course I followed thru lol . Just remember whatever you find be committed to try it for at least 5-6 times to see if it really works or not. Often times people won't do anything about an ad they see until it's repeatedly shown in the same spot . HTH!
