Default Why should I sign up?

Hello

I am very interested in Ameriplan... I was just doing some research throughout the internet and was finding good things but also some very bad things. I just had a couple questions?

1. When is say's 250 leads does that mean it gives you name's and phone numbers of people that actually are intersted in learning more about the plans?

2. If you get people to sign up in the Memberships and as IBO's is it true that if they drop out or stop their memberships that you stop getting paid for them?

Thank you very much

The 250 leads that we get for free each month are people who have expressed interest in working from home - they come with a name, physical address and email address because they are meant for our post card method. Many Ameriplan Reps have used this method for both sides of the business and have had MUCH success.

We get paid on people we bring into the company, IBOs and members alike, and get paid as long as they stay active. So if they go inactive, you will not get paid on them because they haven't paid their membership which is what you receive commission on.

I have done plenty of research on Ameriplan to see what is out there and to prepare myself for what things people may bring up. No company is perfect and a lot of people talk badly about Ameriplan because they didn't make it work for themselves. You'll find good and bad things about every company but what's important is that they have credentials backing them up and that you, yourself, believe in them. If you can't back a company, your success rate with them will be very low.

Hope I've answered your questions!

Why should you join Ameriplan because We Rock!!!!

We are the #1 Discount Health Care Plan Organization Nationwide, we have been around for 18 years and are a member of the US Chamber of Commerce. The National Association of Dental Plans. The Consumer Health Alliance. The Direct Sellers Association.

And have you checked the BBB for Ameriplan's rating? We do have a A rating! Any big company is bound to have the good and the bad but if you look at the bad compared to the good the good out weighs the bad.

The 250 free post card leads have names and address's and the person's ip address not their email address, I'm using them to market my business as well and they are very good leads! We teach you how to generate your own leads and there are many many places that offer free leads. If you need more information we can help you with that too!

Why should you sign up? Well, if someone were to ask me that question, I would tell them you should sign up ONLY if you are serious about making a positive change in your life and 100% dedicated to your own success and willing to put in the effort necessary to realize your goals AND feel that the company, team and the person you sign up with is a good fit for you. Personally, I don’t bring people onto my team if they are looking for me to convince them to join because quite frankly it’s a waste of both our time. THEY have to want it and be ready and then we’ll “get to work” and I’ll match their efforts 100% to get them to where they want to be.

There’s A LOT of misinformation on the internet so it’s important that when you’re doing your due diligence, that you’re weighting the information and sorting through the “fact from fiction”. The negative comments I found were due to one of these reasons: a misunderstanding, not a good fit in the first place, not following procedure, expecting get rich quick or little effort, not working the business consistently or being accountable for one’s own success, trying to reinvent the wheel and failing to be coachable and trainable, not giving the business a fair shot/giving up too soon, or just someone trying to promote their new venture using negativity to attract people and playing upon their fears.

The 250 free post card leads are just one of the many tools and resources that you are given. However, ultimately, it starts and ends with YOU. You get everything you need to be successful but it’s up to you to put it to use.

You get paid an advance when you put business on the books and continue to get paid when the business stays on the books so it’s to your advantage to write good business. Do the work Right one time and continue to get paid repeatedly for that same work. Yes, no matter what you do some business will drop off but that’s just part of the process and over time it takes on a life of its own like compound interest. Unfortunately, many people want that immediate gratification and don’t stay in the game long enough to get to that point.

Just my 2 cents…

And yes Linda, we do Rock!!! LOL

Hey Fred, welcome to the board . When I first researched AmeriPlan I found good and bad as well on the internet. So what I did is when I read the good, I tried to see why they were so happy with their decision. I did the same with those that sad negative things. I've found that with most people, if they fail at their home business the main reasons were because they weren't consistant and didn't give it enough time. This business will not happen overnight so it's a long term commitment from you to work your business on a daily basis consistantly.

I can attest to the consistant part lol...for a while there I was not consistant and now that I'm working on a daily basis it's like the universe knows and people that I haven't spoken to in over a year are coming out of the woodwork saying they are interested! So anyway, with the negative comments, what I did was to put a percentage on the positive comments vs. the negative ones. I felt that there was 80% positive and 20% negative. Counting for the fact that most of those negative comments were from people that did some of the stuff that Laura said above, I felt really good about the company and what we offer.

BOY DID I MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION!!!!

So anyway to answer your other question as the other ladies have said if someone stops their membership with AmeriPlan we don't get a commission on that person anymore...after all, if no money is coming into AmeriPlan from that member, how will AmeriPlan pay us?

I'm glad to see you are doing your due diligence . We have an awesome group on this board who are more than willing to help. Feel free to contact all of us to see who is a good fit for you . Best wishes!

The ladies here have given some excellent advice and answers to your questions.

Bottom line is, Ameriplan is a Business Opportunity. Just like any other business opportunity you have to have a PASSION for what you are doing or you are not going to be successful. You have to have a strong reason WHY you want to push yourself HARD every day to become a success.

Here, on the Freedom At Home Team we are very fortunate to have great leadership and support and an NVP that purchases leads for us each and every month. This isn't an Ameriplan "thing", it's our team's "thing" - just another way we work on helping our people succeed.

There are hundreds of testimonials from those of us that have been here both long term and even short term for how this can be a very lucritive busienss.

In my opinion, instead of asking us why you should join Ameriplan, I think you should ask yourself a few questions....
  1. Have I fully researched the company and business opportuntiy? If that answer is no, you can review all the information here: http://www.AmeriplanDetails.Blogspot.com. Also on the right side of that blog you'll see links to the BBB and all the other organizations Ameriplan is affiliated with so you can fully do all of your research.
  2. Do I believe in the products or services that this company offers?
  3. Do I feel that there is a NEED for the products or services that this company offers? (70% of Americans are without a dental plan)
  4. Can I see myself sharing these products or services with people I know?
  5. Does the company offer a compensation plan and income opportunity that will fit my need and allow me to accomplish my goals?
  6. Am I willing to work hard for 5 or so years to create life long career level residual income and to achieve those income goals?
  7. Have I checked out my enrollment options and made a decision on a benefits/income opp package that will best suit my income goal needs and the benefit needs of my family. To see the options: AmeriPlan® Business Opportunity: Our Enrollment Process...
  8. Have I found a team and an enroller that I connect with and that I am positive will have my best interests at heart?
  9. Am I confident that I will receive ample training and support and leadership from my team and my enroller?
  10. What reasons do I have that I should NOT enroll and get to work on accomplishing my goals?
