Default What am I doing wrong

How do you guys get ppl to listen to you? I have yet to find 1 person that will listen to the script all the way through. I figured it was 2 long so I shortened it but they still do not want to listen to all the benefits. I tried the sizzle call a couple of timeas and each time the person I was talking to hung up. I get ppl viewing my ads and websites but I can not seem to sign them up.

Hi,
One thing that I found was that if I said anything about work from home in the begining they h/u! Don't feel afraid to just "talk" to them. Ask them questions like an interview. I just ask them what they are looking for and what they expect. I think the biggest thing is talk don't read! Keep going and change it up so its personal not just a script. Also key in to what they say. If they say they want to be able to keep there kids home from day care---mention that again later in the call. "AmeriPlan has helped hundreds of mom's stay home and raise there own kids." ect. I hope this helps.

Exactly talk with them like you already know them. How long have you been looking for something to do from home? Have you ever tried anything from home before? How many hours are you looking to work? Are you comfortable giving information over the phone or via email. And take it from there the more you do it the easier it gets I promise you that. Every no brings you closer to a yes

I have been doing what both of you sugessted make it personal but they seem to shut down when they realize it isn't guaranteed money. I just want this so bad and if I do not start making at least enough to cover the $50.00 a month then I will have to quit

Default Leads?

How are you obtaining your leads? Maybe you are targeting the wrong audience?

I would highly recommend you bring your concerns to your enroller. Without seeing exactly what you're doing (what's in your ads, what's on your marketing materials, your exact script, how many people you've talked to, etc.), it's really difficult to pinpoint where you may need to tweak something and oftentimes that's all it is.

Also, you indicated that you tried the overview "a couple times" - I would definitely not give up after a couple attempts because that's just "par for the course" - it happens. If, after you've done that with SEVERAL prospects and they all hang up, then maybe you'll want to look at something different but don't determine something doesn't work by basing it on just a handful of people.

And no matter what you do, how you come across is the most important. No matter what you say, if you're desperate for an enrollment and that's your focus, they will hear it in your voice. So, don't try to force it. Just let it happen and it will. Find out what they are looking for and how what you have to offer can help them get it. It's ALL about THEM and what THEY want and NEVER about YOU and what YOU want so make sure you're in that correct mindset before you even pick up that phone. The majority of the people you will talk to are just curious and not serious so your job is to sort through the "tire kickers" to find the ones who are serious about making a positive change in their lives and more importantly ready to do something about it. If they hang up, they obviously weren't serious, not a good fit or the timing just isn't right so just thank them for their time and move on.

I was gonna say exactly what Laura said she took the words right out of my mouth so what I'm going to add you are gonna get so many more no's than yes's some how you just have to say next and move I. I sold life and health insurance and I hated it no one ever thought they needed it!

Sometimes it's not what you are saying but how you say it or how you sound to the person on the other end of the phone they say you should put a mirror up and look at yourself when talking with people I don't think I could do that but some people can, it's all about your posture and I don't mean if your sitting up straight in your chair!

I would check with your up line and see what they suggest I know that sometimes that is hard to do one of my first ventures my upline was no where to be found after they enrolled me so I had to go digging to find others to help me.

You can also check out Dani Johnson she is very good at motivating people she does free training calls on Monday nights. There is also Doug Firebaugh, Todd Falcone just to name a few. HTH

Default Wonderful Tips Ladies

I think that you've been give wonderful information and here on the forum we can only give you so much as Linda mentioned.

One thing that I will always tell people about the scripts is the fact they were written by a person and they were written for that persons personality so what works GREAT for them might not work great for you. It's about being comfortable on the phone. I ask people to read through the scripts and find some they like and read sentence for sentence and make changes.

One of the first things a person says is:

Hi _________ This is Susan (last name?) from AmeriPlan how are you?

With that first line there... Would you be 100% comfy with saying your last name? Some are and some aren't. If you are NOT then don't say it! You'll feel more at ease.

Like everyone said, you want to talk with them and interact and ask questions. One of the things that I love to do is ask questions from answers I get. Find that comfort and help the person on the phone find the comfort as well.

But do get in touch with your upline and go through all of this with them because they will really be able to help you out!

What I do is make sure that people know it's a "business" in my ads and on my profiles. Then when people contact me, I know they are already aware that it is a business and there are upfront costs and things like that.

I ask them questions to get to know them. Always keep the focus on them and what they need. Listen to what they say instead of worrying if they are going to sign up or not.

Speak with posture and confidence and let your excitement for the business show through in your voice. Try one of the 3 minute scripts where you direct them to a sizzle call and follow up with them later. I highly recommend Dani Johnson's script if you can afford it. It works very well.

One thing she mentions that has worked well is instead of saying:

"Hi is _____________there? This is Wendy with Ameriplan, how are you?

Instead say:

Hi ______________? How's it going? (this keeps you from sounding like a telemarketer, but instead like a friend). Then proceed with your name and on with the rest of your script.

Sometimes you just need to say "some will, some won't, so what, next".

Don't quit! You owe it to yourself to stick with it. Ameriplan will pay you and your family for life once you build up that residual check. But, it is going to be work. You need to keep working on your skills and self-development. Read encouraging books (there are plenty mentioned in the training site). Stay motivated and keep plugging away. Switch up your advertising a little bit. Keep tweeking it until you start getting results. Just remember, your job is to help people either save money on benefits or work from their home. Keep your mind focused on helping as many people as you can, and before you know it, things will start to happen for you.
