Default Recruiting opportunity for WAHMs in/around N.J.

Hi Ameriplan Folks!

I'm not that familiar with your company, but I believe you do recruiting, so I just wanted to share about a recruiting opportunity I found for those of you in New Jersey and surrounding areas. NetWork: Part Time & Work From Home Expo is looking for additional companies who would be interested in purchasing exhibitor space at their event. I signed up and will be representing my company, and I think it's an event that shouldn't be missed! It's for any businesses that offer flexible/part-time/home-based employment - basically a job fair for anyone interested in working for such companies.

The event will take place on January 10th in Somerset, NJ. Over 1000 attendees will come looking for legitimate part-time or home-based opportunities - all will have been validated ahead of time - and guests are also being offered free babysitting, guest speakers, spa services, gift bags, etc. Exhibitors can recruit or recruit and sell.

Additional cities are being scheduled for other months in 2010. For more information, see NetWork: Part-time & Work From Home Expo and contact Susan (info on the website). Tell her Just Jewelry Girl sent you! And let me know if your company purchases space... I'd love to see some fellow WAHM-ers there.

Default Costs

This sounds awesome. I wonder what the costs are.

The only thing negative about this would be the competition. All the vendors will be competing against each other for the same people. But at least everyone that shows up will be coming for the same thing.

If the costs were somewhat reasonable and if I lived anywhere near NJ I would do it.

I actually don't think competition is always negative. I don't believe that "my" company is for everyone - and I don't think my competition will be for everyone. I think it's great that people can learn about so many different opportunities all in one place. Plus, having so many attendees who are only there to look for opportunities increases the chances that someone there will find "my" company a perfect fit for them!

Default I agree

I agree with you both Jane and Chrissy. Those fairs are great as people are going to get information. One thing that I will always tell people is to RESEARCH several companies before jumping on any one in particular.

For a person to be successful they will need and want to find something they have a passion for. If they LOVE to give parties then they might want to look into Mary Kay, Avon, Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Candle Companies etc... Those are all party oriented and how they really build.

Me on the other hand never wanted to host parties and is a HUGE reason why I chose AmeriPlan® among their awesome services.

So, having the multiple people at these fairs are great because you have people who've talked to many and have received a great deal of information and if they go with you then you know they will be great and they really wanted the company.
