Somebody told me that indeed, there’s money to be made on the internet. I was told to watch a video, and as soon as I’d finish it, if I started doing what it says, I could easily make $300-$500 my first week.

Sounds crazy, right? I never believed someone would share their money making secrets online, unless the secret was how to empty my wallet. Naturally I brushed aside the idea.

I laid back in my seat and continued to use the internet what I always believed it was destined for: surfing and playing games. But recently, my mind started wondering towards making money. I mean, if I was gonna sit there anyway, I might as well try to make something of it.

As I started looking around, I came across quite a few tips, tricks and techniques but most of them required building a site or doing something technical and I'm not into that. So I gave up searching and got back to my games.

Then one day, I got fired up again and started looking for things that I could do online that could help me in real life. During my surfing, I came across the same offer again I had heard from someone a while before. It was about watching this particular video goo.gl/p5ths and that it would profit me in the first week.

Other than the ’online’ part, the idea that someone can make a few hundred bucks in his first week doing ’something’ didn’t seem too far-fetched, so I gave in and watched it. It was a bit hypey for my liking and I nearly quit watching as it dragged on, but then the guy finally got to the point and told me about how I’d get paid – with non-technical work.

For me, doing something non-technical and non-time consuming is good and if I can make even a little bit of money from it, I'm in. So I got started with this system for which I paid $25 and now I'm a part of it.

This is the first system or should I say "online business" that I have started and it's turning out to be really good so far, for me at least.

Anyway, for now. I have stopped my search for other money making products and I still occasionally use the web for fun, but I'm getting more and more into helping myself in real life but through online means.

I'd advise anyone who wants to do something productive online, be it blogging or helping out others, to just do it and don't waste so much time playing games or pointless surfing like I did before. I spent a good portion of my life wasting it when I could have done something far more useful. Don't do what I did. Value your time!

I didn't set out to get into affiliate marketing, and it's definitely not my main source of income.

I built a mailing list of people interested in making money from home in hopes of promoting my business coaching.

Then, as I used other business coaches' products and services I joined their affiliate programs and sent out an occasional e-mail about the other coach's product or service.

So, I get some recurring monthly income and some unexpected windfalls from time to time.

However, I only recommend products or services from people who I know, like and trust. Ideally this means I have used at least one of their products or been some type of client of theirs.

I put the links in my free reports and eBooks as well.

But again, I only do this as a "side business" and only promote certain people. Many affiliate marketers do this a lot differently from me, but I can't in good conscience recommend something with which I am not that familiar.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Stephanie

I was like you and did some research and dipped my toe in the water and tested a couple and when I found one i could trust me and my husband did some investing and so far have been over whelmed by the success we are having. But always in the back of our minds as it will be with most people involved in MLM is the question how long will it last?

What we did was not to put all our eggs in one basket and we found another 2 business opportunitys that werent dependent on sign ups and also didnt take up to much of your time.We now are both able to quit our day jobs and lead the life that we have always craved for. Do it before its too late.

I have partnered with a company called Melaleuca. It has been a great company for me and has been providing me with extra income. The company is not a get rich quick scheme, it will take work but in the end it will be worth it. pm me if you want to know more, I would love to tell you about the company.

Until now, distinguished publishers were required to have fully functional websites that generated significant traffic. Luckily, the Combo Package is a rebel that defies the rules and regulations for revenue earners in the online advertising industry. Now all you need is a desire to earn revenue through one of the most lucrative advertising mediums in today's market. No website or traffic stats necessary.

How it works: We supply you with inventory (online ad space) on various websites owned and operated by Banners Broker – think of it as your own profitable online real estate. Each of these sites already has a sizeable amount of existing traffic. So each time your ad space produces impressions for selected banners on the site, you earn a commission.

Its FREE to join and you recieve 1000 ad impressions FREE to advertise anything of your choice apart from pornography and gambling. Let me know if you want more info.

Check out commission junction. They have a number of products to choose from that encompass several niches. Success will really come down to what type of site you have and if people find value in it. Most successful affiliate marketers build up a following because of their reputation. Once they have the following they either write positive reviews on certain products, use an email list or just advertise products on their website and people buy because of their reputation. If you are just starting I would focus on creating a website on whatever your interest is and just create interesting content. Also work on adding value to online forums that are similar to the focus of your website. A good formula to strive for is at least 500 to 1000 valuable posts on a forum with heavy traffic and at least 100 articles on your website.

I use linkshare, google affiliate, and commission junction. I agree blogging is a great way to get started but it is definitely not a get rich quick type of thing. I also take surveys to make some extra money. It fills in the gaps. I also use squidoo. The reason why I like squidoo so much is you can use affiliate links in your lenses and you can get really creative. It's nice if you can do more than one thing if you can. Keep at it and keep a positive attitude. If you make the effort and think you will be successful you will. So, don't give up.
