I really like Amazon because they have an endless supply of products to promote. I set up sites with Amazon reviews and look for products that have quite a few customer comments. I promote Amazon products through Squidoo as well.

I'm thinking of using them as an affiliate but I am new and don't know which method is best.

A lot of affiliates set up a blog on Wordpress or Blogger. Wordpress is the best, but it's a bit complicated. Blogger is easy to set up.
Then you do a product review with your affiliate links. It's important to keep the review factual without sounding too "salesy". If you are promoting a product that has a lot of customer comments I mention that in the review also. It's a good idea to mention a small negative someone may have commented on. This keeps the review from sounding like just a sales pitch. As I mentioned, you can also promote Amazon products on Squidoo. This might be easier if you are just starting out. The Squidoo modules make it quite simple to set up a lens. |
