Hello :

Like everyone else i believe there is a true legit way to make money online. I am always online with my current job and this would be no problem for me to work hours online per day doing what i need to do. I have done alot of research and reading and listening to you tube videos and have decided the true way to make alot of money online is Affiliate Marketing. I want IN.

I am very very close to buying Anthony Morrisons program for $47 unless you people can help and save me and tell me not to. If anyone on this site and forum has there own program they are using to make a killer income then please let me know. If you have a recommendation of a mentor or someone on this site who can help me with my journey and be my new best friend then please send me a message or reply to this post. I know it will take work to get there but I need this. I want to eventually quit my job now and get my wife in on this after i show her it is bring in money and will bring in more and more if we invest more and more into it. I am 100% serious and need to get started asap. I have read tons of info on Affiliate marketing but everything seems to go back to:

Where do i Start? What program should i buy? Should i believe that Anthony Morrison really stopped his parents house from being foreclosed on in months because of his affiliate marketing?? Is this all hype and BS or real and 100% obtainable??

Please help me and mentor me and show me that there is hope and it can be done.

The first thing that you need to realize is that you do not need to buy a program to get started with affiliate marketing. If you have been doing lots of research on the topic then you probably have the tools at you finger tips to get started making money without worrying about whether someone's program is legit or not.

The basic concept that you could use is to choose a niche or topic area to focus on. Doing some keyword research will help you to narrow this down and to figure out what keywords to get started with.

From there you can get a domain name and hosting and set up your own blog on the topic area. Hostgator can install a full wordpress blog on your domain name in less then 10 minutes with using Fantastico without having any computer programing knowledge. I can not code to save my life, but can have a full blog up and running in well under an hour.

Post content with the information that you have gathered in your research already about SEO and getting traffic. Include links to the affiliate program that you are promoting in the content.

Promote your blog .

Keep repeating and working at building your blog.

I know i understand i should find a niche or topic area but where do i find this?? Is it something i know well and how do i find a company to do the affiliate marketing for?? I have found nothing on how to get started in affiliate marketing and find the appropriate niche for me??? What if my niche is multiple things??? Basically if someone can just tell me how to start up or work with me and help me get it started??

I understand your pain...It sounds like my story. I want a real turn key business, but the problem is so does everyone else in the world. Its a dream of mine to find something true. My husband thinks I am insane for even trying. I so want to prove him wrong, but to be honest I have been looking for so many years now so I can understand where he is coming from....

DON"T BUY IT!!!! There are ways and if you would like I'll contact you and I'll be more then happy to help you out with what I do. My main reason I feel comfortable telling people about it is because my mother , my uncle , my aunt and several of my cousins are all in Zeek Rewards and they are doing great. I had the same issues with my husband and when I when in to the Zeek Rewards I had him sitting there with me so we both could hear what it was about and the potential we could make. Things are a bit different now that he has seen and understands

I haven't heard of Anthony Morrison or Zeek Rewards. I Googled the latter and as soon as I saw 50 or more pages from affiliates looking to get referral sales and after reading one "review", I didn't bother looking any further.

There are hundreds of get-rich-quick gurus and there are a few tongue-in-cheek articles out there (one is mine) on how to fake it until you make it. I once worked for a domain name company and knew two of these gurus and their real circumstances (struggling to pay their invoices) versus their public personas.

There are some genuinely wealthy affiliates whom you can meet at affiliate conferences but few will share their secrets. There are other genuine people who do share generic tips through DVDs, eBooks and webinars. The problem is not knowing who is making money by recycling other people's tips or knowing whether good old tactics no longer work. For example, in 2003 I started making over $1000 a day. I thought I had cracked the jackpot, but within a week Google changed its algorithm and my traffic never recovered.

So, here's the truth:

Your main challenge is to solve the traffic problem regardless of the niche you find. How will you get thousands of visits, of which only a small number will buy? Regardless of whose technique you emulate, you cannot get past that problem. If you are lucky like a person I met whose niche was marine excavators (apparently only a few exist and cost millions to rent) and one referral a year might net you a big sum, the rest of us have the prospect of making pennies a month, or less.

In November 2010 I helped a friend to launch an online magazine about interiors. It's her occupation as well, so she knows the industry at a global level. For ten years she had struggled with short-lived blogs but was somehow losing them owing to the pressures of life, but finally she decided to make a serious crack at it without giving up her day job.

She has a website magazine, a Facebook page with over 50,000 fans, and a PDF magazine that repurposes the website contents with a coffee-table layout. She has not yet tried hard to monetise it beyond direct advertising. Now that's an enviable position even I don't think I can replicate, as it needs a certain personality to come through the site. I think Facebook is the secret for her. Interiors is a topic that appeals to lots of people. She sets up small contests where people send in their own home photos to be featured and she gets content for her next issue. The prizes are modest and the people who participate wouldn't care about the prizes themselves. The next secret is that she has created a community that keeps coming back and interacts with one another, thanks to the way FB works and how people engage with it daily.

The bottom line is how passionate will you be in your chosen niche and how much time you can devote to get it to a point of running itself (to a point).

I make a full time living online and can tell you a quality course would have saved me a lot of time. I spent many hours trying to pull together information and wasted a lot of time if I had all the info in one place.

Time is a massive factor in learning the affiliate marketing business (I know... that's an understatement). I started late last year with a site. Built it, ranked it without paying for the info and now it's bringing in some money. Not huge amounts but it's a start. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you can find an awful lot of information on the big G (G and Youtube are my best friends). But I am a researcher so love love love the thrill of finding information and learning how to do things myself. I'm also a very fast learner.

I will eventually invest in some 'official' training as the business grows but I'm likely to look at specific mentoring for growing a particular part of my business. Stuff which I really won't be able to find online. All in good time though.
