I have done very well over the years with Amazon Affiliates, but there are things you have to do to make it work. First, you have to drive a lot of traffic to your site. Second, you have to have very helpful, long reviews that are not overly "salesy" or you will turn people off.

Focus on delivering VALUE and really helping the reader make a good decision.

Have you also tried adding adsense to your blog for extra revenue.

You could open a free Facebook fanpage and invite your friends, you can link
your blogposts to your fanpage and your fans will see them on a regular basis.
