Your blog is great! I love your post about Christmas. There are alot of successful bloggers that make money that use blogger. I actually like them because it's easy to use. My husband prefer wordpress. He had both but he said he could do more with wordpress when he got his own domain but blogger was easier in his opinion for someone like me. He knows HTML and he's an it person so he said wordpress was no problem for him. I never tried it so I can't tell you the difference but I love blogger.

I don't think there's wrong in using Blogger as your platform of your choice for your domain. Anyone can monetize blog, be it using WordPress or Blogger. It depends on how you work well with your site. Just go for it.

By the way, I just visited your blog and I find it great.

The biggest thing is that since you're on their website they can take it down if you don't abide by their terms. I'm not saying you would do anything against their TOS but it wouldnt be the first time someone lost their site for no reason. If you have it on your own hosting you have more control over it. Either way, make sure you backup regularly!

As for blogger vs wordpress - I prefer wordpress since it has tons of great themes and a plugin for anything you can imagine!
