Making money from affiliate programs?

Is anyone making enough from any affiliate programs to brag about?
If so how are you doing it?
If not what are you doing thats not working?

We promote around 6 affiliate programs and we only make money from 2 of them.
Google adsense is our top money maker with a couple hundred a month.
Ebay is the 2nd with around $50 a month,

Now when you promote do you add advertisement to your website or do you pay to get it on other websites or how do you do it?

I have a few clickbank ads on my jobs for petlovers site, and get a few sales here and there. A few amazon sales as well, but the commissions are really low for these. Clickbank pays higher for me.

Well in today I dont think I would run a website with affiliate ads and not use google adsense.

I have never made nothing to count for clickbank but I dont market them much I focus mainly on google and ebay when we build websites to sell but I am going to look more into clickbank as have had a few requests for websites based on clickbank but I would still add google adsense and like cj and or linkshare.

I work from home full time well a few hrs a day monday to friday and make between $3-5k mth.

More if i like a new product or its a good launch and the people behind it are good ethical guys I dont promote B.S only stuff i know works.

And in all different niches im currently in 10 different niches its not all about the make money online niche there is others to go after

The secret is in the list. Offer something for free, get the list going and e-mail a newsletter, tips, advice, etc. but use your affiliate links in your emails. Always add value, like free things and people will trust you. Be open, honest and above all personable. People want to connect with a real person. That's when the start buying. Part of the formula is to make your own products, i.e. ebooks, coaching or training. I make most of my money on coaching first, my primary biz,in third place affiliate marketing, in last place ebooks.

It seems like you can't make any real money promoting affiliate programs
because you are all over the place.

You are promoting 6 different affiliate programs. You should focus on one then
move on to the next one.

Being unfocused will have you unsuccessful and struggle for a long time.

I disagree with the above post. It all depends on your marketing funnel and how much of a relationship you have built with your list.

I promote many different things, and have checked each and every one out personally as I am very picky about what I promote to my list.

I'm very protective of them for sure!
