"The best way" is very individual- Some succeed in PPC marketing, some succeed in forums and some succeed with affiliate products in their blog or website.

Those definitions are exactly how I would describe affiliate marketing.

As for the best way to affiliate market - pick your target market first, then find something - a product or service that would help that market out. Just start thinking like an individual sitting at their computer - how would they search for your product? Where would they look?

Getting into the consumers mind is important.
