Great advise if you can I would suggest you getting you own domain and blow with wordpress.org more freedom to do what you want and no issue with the blog being stopped like on blogger for some users. If you can't go this route than start with blogger or more of the other free services using your blog site is a great way to go. good luck

Michelle

They also have the problem that you don't own them and have to comply with Squidoo's (rapidly changeable!) terms of service. Many affiliate marketers have had unpleasant surprises there, getting their lenses locked.

You can, but it's a terribly difficult way to make sales, when all your article-marketing competitors are using a pre-sell landing-page rather than direct-linking.

You also can't ever build a list that way, by having a squeeze-page with an opt-in, which means you're inevitably leaving most of the money on the table.

They frown on it a little more than "technically". They can close people's accounts for it. There are plenty of articles already published there, doing that, but that doesn't mean they're accepting new ones. Sorry to be contentious about it, but this is really pretty questionable advice!

Definitely agree with Yuliya...Squidoo lenses are not the way to go. Having had a very nice lens locked and then unlocked...(never recovered in Google) I can attest to this first hand.

Same with blogger blogs - no way unless its an article or two. Just read a post about a guy who had his blog deleted no warning and he had 300 posts on it.

Think of it as building a hotel on someone else's land.

I don't want to sound crude, but you will not make fast money through affiliate marketing. You can make money, yes, but it can take up to 6 months before you start seeing some income, maybe more.

Article marketing is one of many ways to draw traffic to your site.

I understand why you left Wealthy Affiliate because it didn't quite make sense to you despite all the great service (I left for the same reason). I do, however, recommend that budding affiliate marketers get a foundational membership training like Wealthy Affiliate.

The membership program I'm in has a wonderful teacher and is very newbie friendly. For the first time ever, I understood all the concepts I struggled to learn for 2 years and started to see some money, not a lot, but some money.

On another note, very realistically, my coach would say the same, if you need to make money fast, don't do affiliate marketing. Don't do any online program yet until you're financially stable enough to do so. It might sound harsh, but if you've got bills to pay by next week, next month, you simply have to get a job or part-time job to make ends meet.

If you can do that and learn about affiliate marketing at the same time, great. If not, wait until you can. Affiliate success requires proper training, proper mindset, diligence and time.

I was a member of a membehip site when i started my work online. Not anymore though, but it was a great place to start.Becouse they offer so much support and guidance, and they show you other ways to earn money online than just affiliate marketing.I recomend it to everybody becouse of value and content they have.Various ways to make money as fast as posible and than start saving some cash if you still think that affiliate marketing is way you want to earn money online.

affiliate marketing is not the only way to work from home

Be careful when using web 2.0 sites like Blogger.com because they can close your blog any time they want and you will lose your content and your stream of income.

You can find good hosting that doesn't cost a lot and you can buy your own domain names relatively cheap. Then you can set your websites up on your own domains and not worry about the terms of service changing at the web 2.0 sites.

Sachin, affiliate marketing is when you market someone else's product by various methods such as building your own website around that product and promoting your site, or using article marketing for promotion.

Adsense is when you place Google ads on your websites and you get paid every time someone comes to your site and clicks on the ad. You don't get a great deal per click but if you have a hot website with good traffic, you can make some money with adsense.
