Default TIP: Google Adsense Alternative

I posted this in another forum and thought some of you might be interested also.TI

If you are interested in trying out an Adsense alternative Clickbank may be a good choice.
If you go into YOUR ACCOUNT on the right hand side is a Clickbank Hop Builder.

You can use this to build ads that look like Google Adsense. Put in your keywords to get appropriate ads. Place these on your site and get clicks to Clickbank products that have higher payouts. The drawback is many clickers will not buy and you do not get paid per click. But if one or two buy you make out with more income then you would with Adsense.

Just something to try

How can this be an alternative? I think the way you earn in adsense do not work same as CB..So how can you expect it be an alternative??

You are correct Clickbank and Adsense are two different things.

When I say Adsense alternative I am referring to the ad set up. On your site you can put ads with Google text in them in specified block sizes.
With the Clickbank method I described you can build ads that look very much like Google Adsense only instead of going to Adsense advertisers the ads link to Clickbank products. If someone were to click through and purchase a CB product you stand to make much more than if they clicked an Adsense ad.
However, if they click an Adsense ad you definitely get paid. If they click the Clickbank ad they may or may not buy the product.

A client of mine is using it (the clickbank unit) and he hasn't really seen much in the way of results from it after several months now.

I love promoting some specific clickbank products that my friends have created but I wouldn't like serving up ads to just anything there so I've never wanted to use it.

You can actually specify the types of products you want in the Clickbank ads. You select a keyword and it will serve up ads based on the keywords, so the ads can relate to your site.

The good thing is if someone does click through and buy you stand to make a decent amount of money instead of the pennies Adsense pays. The bad thing is most people are unlikely to buy. Something to be tested.
