Default The Best 'Micro Blog' Platforms for Niche sites

Can someone shed some light?

I'm all ready for my first one..got the domain, have the hosting (thru host gator) downloaded WP...but just need some tips on creating multiple micro blogs...are these all one-page blogs? What is the best platform?

Any help/feedback/tips/suggestions are appreciated.

I have several niches already but doing one at a time....

Lakeisha,
Will you be using these sites as blogs where you'll be updating content on a consistent basis or do you just want separate sites with one sales page for each? I use XSitePro web design software to build niche sites and then add on Wordpress blogs to some of those but for niches where I don't have a blog, I use XSitePro. However you can use Wordpress as a content management system instead of a blog. I have never personally done that but I know some people over at the SSWT forum have so they could probably help in that aspect.

Does this make sense?

I have several blogs with just one page promoting a product that I have on Wordpress - just use the "Page" feature on wordpress and then set your page to be what shows on the index in Settings - once you do one, the other ones will be easy - let me know if you need help - you can post here or PM me - good luck!

I use Blogger, but I plan on moving over to Wordpress since it has so many additional features. Blogger is fine if you're just getting started.

WP is a good choice, lots of plug-ins that can be very helpful and nice user-friendly architecture. Blogger is good for start-ups.
