Has anyone ever had luck using articles submitting software or web based services? I seems to me to be a good way to go, but I am not sure how effective it is. Like many "Good Ideas" out there most are scams.
I currently do most of it myself or pay someone to do it for me when I can. Those auto submitters for other advertising methods have never paid off for me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

ArticleBot from Incansoft.
For the price, it is a no brainer. It does semi-automatic account creation and automatic article submissions. You have to enter the captchas on some of the sites, but that doesn't take long. With an already setup account, I can submit an article in under 15 minutes and it goes to about 400 directories. It also supports JetSpinner syntax. You can spin the article, titles, and resource box. I'm not an affiliate for these guys, but I really should be. I own about 12 of their products. They are all great. I also love their RSSBot, SocialBot, VideoBot, and GFX Video Writer. Use them all the time. Web2.0Bot is rumored to be coming out at the end of the month.

Mike, that is great information and thanks for it. I so love affiliate marketing and this will just about complete my tools. Lovely.

BTW Mike, I checked out Incansoft's affiliate program, not so hot. You pay them 20 bux a month to be an affiliate! Sure, you get to keep all the profit, but some how it just doesn't sit well with me. They would rather have your 20 a month then profit from you future sales?

Hmmm... So you pay $20, but you get to keep all your sales. If you can send a fair amount of traffic their way, that isn't so bad. But yeah, I don't particularly like paying membership fees.
I bet they do it because anyone you sell to goes on their mailing list. Then they can market to them directly for any future products or other products the customer didn't buy. From that point of view, it's really not a bad deal for them. Affiliate program aside, their software is great, and I would recommend it to anyone.

I only submit to a few of the larger directories such as Ezine articles and Go Articles. Is it worth submitting to the other sites? I've always wondered about this. Four hundred directories with a few clicks sounds great. :-)

If you're looking for a quality website to post article to I would look no further than ezinearticles. If you want to just put a lot of articles out there try article wizard.

I haven't use any automatic submission tool, I used to submit my articles manually on top directories such as ezines, etc. In my opinion, it is more reliable & effective on my part.

I completely agree with securedcc. I don't like automatic submission. I always prefer for manual submission and it is the best and safest method......
