If it was only this easy. Starting a WordPress blog is a great idea but that is only the beginning. Don't make the mistake of setting up on a free site. Get your own hosting account and own your own space and brand your own domain name.

There are lots of different ways to make money from Adsense to affiliate marketing to blogging. It is one of the reasons I wrote the free report listed in my signature because people are always asking me how I make money online. I now have over 160 sites, so there are a variety of ways I structure those to make money.

CC,

Thanks for looking at some of my sites and sharing your input! Wow...so many great ideas you have!

I was wondering we all know the .com is best but lets say its not available

would you take the .net or would you take a .com and add a word to it.

So lets say you were going for acnenomore.com and it is taken. Would you take acnenomore.net or acnenomore.org or would you go for bestacnenomore.com (or something else that makes sense)

Thanks!

You absolutely can earn money with your own niche website. My suggestion is to get involved with women who do already earn money like that.

But, other than that, I would 1) start a blog, 2) populate it with content related to my niche and 3) promote it and 4) become an affiliate for relevant products.

if you are relying on SEO,
i'd use the domain no-more-acne
or no-acne
as the google keyword tool shows that has about 6000 people using that search term per month

Is there anyway you can be more specific with your question? What do you want to do?

Asking how to earn money with a website is like asking how to play sports. Do you want to sell stuff, make money from advertising, what? If you give us a better idea of what you're looking for then we can give you better suggestions.

Making money is going to require focus. I guarantee you that if you don't hone in on what you want to do you're going to go through this thread, try everything, not make any money, and then complain that you're not making any money and nothing works. It takes time to learn a method and perfect it to make any decent money. Also, if you don't pick something that vaguely interests you, you're going to give up before you start seeing real money. So what do you like, what would be easy for you, what interests you?

If you owned a business and someone just walked in off the street and asked how to make money with your business you'd want to know what their qualifications are, what experience they have, etc. You've got to bring something to the table. If all it took was throwing a website up, everyone would be doing it.

So, what are you bringing to the table? Let us know and then we can help you capitalize on the talents and interests you already have.

Your can feature products on your site, create your own product as well as add google ad sense and work on building traffic to your site.

Most bloggers make only little money through blogging. The key is, you need to capture list and convert your visitors / readers to your potential customers. So, you definitely need an autoresponder.

If not a blog but a e-commerce site, you still need to capture list and the concept is the same.
