"Flogs" ...
... are "fake blogs".
I wasn't certain whether to post this here, or under "Bloggers", but it actually has much more to do with affiliate marketing than most of the contents of the blogging folder, I think? I found this article very interesting. I hope it isn't too relevant to anyone here!
