Default Who else does affiliate marketing and doesn't spend money?

So I am starting to wonder if I am in the minority. Other than my annual fee for my web domain, I don't spend any money at all on my affiliate marketing. Are there others out there like me?

I don't know, I guess I could experiment with doing some paid marketing, but I just haven't needed to. Am I missing the boat? Or for those of you who didn't use to spend money, but now do, what kind of an increase did you see?

Like you, other than my annual domain and hosting account, I don't spend a dime with on affiliate marketing sites. I don't feel the need to as my SEO practices work quite well.

I'm with you I only pay for domain, hosting and autoresponder. The traffic is free, abundant and growing

I don't spend any money on my affiliate marketing efforts either. That is the beauty of using SEO to gain traffic.

I pay for a reseller hosting account, my domains, an autoresponder, one keyword tool, and I have bought a couple of WordPress plugins. Other than that, I prefer free, too!

Very, very few, I would imagine.

Both my friends who do affiliate marketing for a living also pay for hosting and an autoresponder (which costs a lot more than the domain-names, of course). I think they have no other outgoings, though, apart from their internet connection which they had anyway - and certainly no paid marketing at all. They're not "Adwords" users.

I know many places don't charge money.
Netflix is one of them. It has a great affiliate program.

Blockbuster is another one.

You get a large amount per sign up on aboved mention affiliate programs.

I pay mainly for hosting & autoresponders

I do invest in some paid content to use, and sometimes outsource some of my marketing such as submitting to directories, etc. for backlinks to my site.

I used to rely on Adwords for traffic, but I've stopped advertising with them since i decided to stop cold turkey. I was getting hooked and needed to wean off the adwords dependency. It was the best thing I ever did.

Hilarious on the Adwords dependency.

Thanks for the laugh.
