An autoresponder automates the process of communicating with your site's visitors and helps you build a list of customers' e-mails as well as let them know of interesting developments on your site or with your product. Say you have them sign up for your e-mail newsletter by giving you their e-mail address. You can have a series of messages set up in your autoresponder that will arrive in their inboxes at predetermined intervals. It keeps you in your visitors' minds, although you don't want to overdo it or people will unsubscribe.

I don't pay for affiliate marketing either. I use free advertising.

I didn't spend starting out and use to do pretty good. Last month I put my site in newspapers but I only made half of my money back, Craigslist used to be my money pot but now I am searching for other ways to gain sales. I'm thinking about using PPC ads.

Yes people like me are running our affiliat business on a low budget. However, i have to pay for hosting of my site which cost $24.95 but that is all i do. I have my site optimized, so i get free traffic from the search engines, i do article marketing - write the article myself, blogging-the same too, participate in forums, classified ads and so many other free places.
