I'm brand new here but Im thrilled to have found a forum with other affiliate marketing. chicks like me !! I think some people confuse affiliate vs network marketing because their names are similiar. I have succeeded with both, but more so with affiliate
Marketing. (I sold prepaid telephone cards as a network marketer back in the 90's , lol). Affiliate marketing is awesome because you don't have to bug
your friends about it and hold "parties". I see AM as the same as when a business pays you to advertise on your website. The only difference is they pay you after the sale (or click) is made.

Would they be classed as bad as they have a purpose and have an affiliate program on the side to try to grow the community? Affiliate marketing has gotten a bad name thanks to some unsavory characters pushing scams or using black had methods to make a quick buck. They have given the industry a bad name.

Have you seen the huge warning on craigslist before you post an ad? The minority have given the rest of us a bad reputation.

That clears it up! It seems that most people on this site are representing affliate marketng site. But I will try to be careful and not sign up or look into anything that will waste my time or money.

I always thought it was selling through affiliate programs while using blog and email marketing techniques. Someone today told me it was getting cash back on completing offers. So which one is it?
