Just a note CPA ..Cost Per Acquisition/Cost Per Action. Using the networks mentioned, drive free/cheap traffic to your landing page, revelevent landing pages : ) (either text ads or banner ads) using article marketing, PPC..Pay Per Click which if your well knowledged with PPC it could be a good option to driving quick targeted traffic to your landing page. You can also direct link to the publisher using PPC. CPA you are paid every time someone completes an action: supplies email addy...etc. You need to analize your CTR/ Click Through Rate to Conversion to ROI..Return on Investment. Also need to keep in mind is domographics as to what you are promoting.

p.s ...don't forget good keyword research : )

Default Is there an easy way to get started?

I am wondering if the PPC is the way to go, what does it cost and what is a good ppc company?? How do you get experience if you don't know what you are doing??

I was approved for Clickbank and I was not happy with any of the products. Nothing really dealt with my niche and the products that were available that would fit some of my other sites that are under construction were poor in quality to me. For those of you using CB what product niche do you feel has the highest quality products?

From what I've seen of Clickbank, I don't think it works that way: I don't think there is a niche (or even a group of them) that "has the highest quality products". I think pretty much all niches and sub-niches have very, very few high-quality products, a lot more reasonable-quality ones and then a big majority of poor-quality ones.

I'm told by friends who make a living promoting this stuff that if you want to promote a range of different, high-quality products, you absolutely have to get involved in several different niches, because it's very difficult to find more than one really impressive, worthwhile product within any one niche (and sometimes even pretty difficult to find one at all).

There are over 10,000 products for sale on Clickbank, so there's certainly plenty of research to do there!

Default CPA Rocks!

I encourage any affiliate marketer who has not tried CPA to give it a shot. I am having a positive experience with it so far.

As far as ClickBank, I do article marketing, forum marketing, classified ads, blogs, and websites. I pretty much do it all!

I don't really promote Clickbank anymore because I actually use the techniques I'm about to mention for my business. But anyway, some of the best ways that I use to pull in Clickbank sales as well as sales and recruits for my business now is through:

Article marketing - I usually commit to writing at least 1 article a day (definitely more if I have the time). I optimize them with long tailed, low competition keywords. Then I submit mostly to Ezine articles, however, I do use other directories as well. Ezines doesn't allow you to link directly to your affiliate page, so you can either re-direct with a free URL with Tinyurl (dot) com or Notlong (dot) com. There are others. Or, you can get a very cheap domain at GoDaddy (dot) com.

Squidoo and Hubpages are also good, however, Squidoo has changed up it's rules a bit so be sure to read their guidelines or you risk having your pages pulled down.

Social Network Sites - These are great, but take time because you need to really build relationships with people. I create a profile that is filled with information on my business (or in your case...your affiliate product) and I go out and invite people to be friends. Then I have conversations with them. The people I look for are people who are looking for what I have to offer (work from home). Your situation might be different depending on what you are promoting.

Forum Posting - Also very effective! Just place a siggy line and simply interact with others on the forum offering helpful advice, etc. DO NOT SPAM!

Blogs - Another great form of advertising. Optimize your blogs with keywords relevant to your product and post on a regular basis. Also, link your blog to your articles, forum siggys, etc. to gain inbound links.

There are many other options, however, these are some of the most effective that I have found to work for my business.

One of the best tricks with Clickbank is to just buckle down and write your own e-book and put it on there for others to sell haha.

It can be about anything as long as it's useful. It's not a fast process though and for those who don't like writing, it's very, very difficult.

At the moment, the primary way I earn money with Clickbank is via PPC advertising on search engines.
