Default So what are you earning?

Hi!

I've worked from home for three years now. I am a triage nurse and a writer. I am about to start a parenting website and work on affiliate marketing. I was wondering how much you guys are earning. I know it varies widely, but has anyone quit their "day job"? Also, I'll be happy to share my info as well if anyone is interested.

Smile

Hello,
Yep- totally quit my day job as a teacher - this is my second year home, and I couldn't be happier!
I earn more than a full time income from my affiliate stuff alone- so I KNOW it can be done

My most important piece of advice would be to set up the system to build your list as the foundation of your business. Your list = recurring sales. Your list = freedom. Your list = working from HOME.

Hello,

I have been with affiliate Marketing since 2001.Even,I haven't tried any Dayjob yet & I won't do that.

I always wants to stay with family & don't wants to spend 10 hours in f**king Office.

Totally quit my job at a major firm as a Human Resource person. I would recommend trying affiliate marketing part time. Just keep chipping away at it, until your residual income from your efforts exceeds the amount you currently make per month X3 on a consistent basis. Then Quit..

I'm excited. I can exceed my triage income with writing now, but I don't enjoy the writing I do. I registered my website this weekend. I will enjoy writing for that much more!

Yep, I'm a 'quitter' :-)

3 years online and working from home only, affiliate marketing, several niche sites and teaching others how to do the same.

Go for it. But accept that it takes time, skills and commitment.

Make sure you're set up with proffessional tools and great training when you're getting started!

Thumbs up Keep working....

To be successful with Affiliate Marketing it takes time. I still work a 9-6 job in an office Monday-Friday and hate it! I have a few blogs I'm doing on the side while also taking some computer classes to help me gain more knowledge about making websites etc...I'm pretty much a web design major with emphasis on internet marketing as well. It's hard in the beginning. Just make sure you start a site that you're passionate about. Don't just make a site and throw a bunch of links on it. Right now my main website is a weigh loss site that is documenting my progress in losing a lot of weight. In the U.S. it's already ranked in the 300,00's by Alexa.com. I post frequently and actually cover a lot of things in depth. Any income I am making is through adsense since I'm still researching some good Affiliate ads. Also, I finally broke down and am having someone design my site for me. Then I plan to market it more. Just keep going at this part time and hopefully some day you'll be able to "retire" from nursing. I'm sure it will be a great feeling! I can't wait. My goal is by August of 2010 when my son starts Kindergarten.
